Thanks Giana for the post and link to the article by Martin Rogers and the video. Even with the apology given by Mr. Culliver, I would like to see the 49ers and the NFL levy a fine for the remark. Read, viewed and noted.

"Shock jock Artie Lange revealed he had interviewed Culliver at media day Tuesday and aired a segment on his show that night, where the player insisted that any gay players would not be welcome on the team."

Okay, the organization apologized (does this fool know in what CITY he plays?) and so has Culliver. But I don't care, I don't think there should be a place on any time for hate-filled bigots either. Suspend him for actions detrimental to the team and the league. That would be fair. And well deserved.

He shouldn't have presumed to speak for the whole team, but he certainly has the right to speak his own opinion.
