What a cute and friendly pig. Doesn't look like he's too thrilled about the surfboard! Thanks Giana!

Not up on my knowledge of swine, I didn't know pigs could even tolerate water.

The animal didn't look like a willing participant at all. This looked like another moronic stunt exploiting animals for attention and cheap fame.
"We'll keep surfing until he gets to a size where he's unmanageable and see what happens after that," he said."
What will probably happen after that is the poor animal will find itself sent for slaughter because it won't be cute, convenient and amusing any more. Any idiot that pushes an animal into such unnatural behaviour is not going to care for it when it's no longer useful to him.

I like that he's taking the piglet out to meet people. He is a good ambassador for his species. But, the pig doesn't seem to like surfing. It's just mean to make an animal do something it doesn't want to do naturally.

Pigs are supposively smarter than dogs. Surfing dog events are quite prominent in California's coastal communities. I think pigs are the happening celebrity.

I think the pig is forced to do this against its will. What happens to the pig when it's an adult?

I agree Brigitta MacMillan, what is going to happen to the little angel after it grows up? Will he eat him? or throw him away?

They say if 'pigs can fly', I can surely see that they cannot surf. This little one was uncomfortable and just hanging on to dear life. Not right, just a publicity stunt.
