Thank you dear Giana~ Hello BTW! My first thought was WT???? Then I thought "He is Dead" and this could be a learning experience for so many to "Hopefully (?) appreciate what is LOST and helpful as a teaching tool. Don't know. RIP George, may your body help teach so many FOOLS to appreciate and treasure what the Earth has to offer! Just shaking my head on this one...Don't know?!?!? I'm going both ways here, but please guys take a peek at this article, you can see for yourself, apparently I always want creatures to be left alone and in peace without any human interference, but Oops in a perfect world ~ never ever a perfect world. Got distressed on this one Giana and THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this, it was a hard one for me, thus the NOVEL comment! xx

Lonesome George was estimated to be over 100 years old when he died. I have always gone to natural history museums to view the animals, birds, insects, etc. that I will never have an opportunity to see in the wild. I think that is a great learning tool. By bringing my son at a very early age, he also learned to appreciate the world of nature.
