Just a reminder, with Halloween coming it is important to keep those chocolate goodies aways from our K9 friends. Chocolate contains theobromine, a known toxin to dogs.

* From Animal Planet:
Different types of chocolate contain different amounts of theobromine: It would take 20 ounces of milk chocolate to kill a 20-pound dog, but only 2 ounces of baker's chocolate or 6 ounces of semisweet chocolate would do the same.

Not to mention more walks for a dog. The squirrel on the other hand has an excuse and will be hibernating during a long and cold winter.

Was this the splurge before the diet?

Not funny. Overweight animals mean an irresponsible owner.
