The lives of two dogs named "Lilo and Stitch," have been hanging in the balance since the day that they were seized from their Fort Worth, Texas home back in September.

"The judge ordered Soluri to meet several requirements within 15 days, including muzzling and leashing the dogs any time they were outside, making them wear special fluorescent collars at all times, paying a $500 fee per dog to register them with the city, and carrying $100,000 per dog in homeowner's insurance."

The insurance required is steep. Please share ChipIN!! Orthe happy ending won't be for long!

There's a chip in to help (shared the SOS and your news on my page https://www.facebook.com/pages/petitions-for-animals-raising-awareness/104848949558867 )

Noted - absolutely the best news I have heard today. So so happy for these precious dogs and for their owner. I hope the rubbishes that took them in the first place find their place in hell. Just think it is shocking that she has to still do all these things.

DESANKA I AGREE WITH YOU. WHEN I WROTE TO RANA I TOLD HER TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL AS LONG AS SHE IS LIVING THERE. THESE NEIGHBOURS ARE EVIL AND DANGEROUS.
THGEY ARE NOT YET SAFE EVERYONE, WE NEED TO WAIT TILL THEY ARE HOME. THERE IS LOADS THAT RANA WILL HAVE TO PUT TOGETHER BEFORE THEY GO HOME HOPEFULLY IN 2 WEEKS. SO KEEP THE PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS GOING. BUT HOPE IS BACK AND NOW THEY REALLY GOT A CHANCE TO SAVE THIER FURBABIES.

Like I caught on the other article I was keeping an eye on asking for donations and help, thank you for the update. This happens so often to breeds, and it is never the dog, it is owners and once people get that thought into their head they are scared to death of certain breeds.

Thank you Buffy and Curzio for the forward ~ came to check in when I could not sleep. Hugs

glad that the dogs will not die, but feel sad that so much has to be done before they can go home. I also have neighbours who hate my dog, despite the fact that she is beautiful and so friendly. They don't like it that she barks when the postman comes, and tried to get us evicted from our apartment.

Thanks for posting this update Buffy (and to Jen once again for the forward) but i am disappointed Rana has still not updated her fb page and is still collecting donations because of that.
I have posted on their fb page about that, but all posts have been removed save for one i put in a thread...that's not right as they were said with the utmost courtesy and respect.

That is seriously causing others to start to question her motives. I'm not trying to be a buzz killer here, but i feel she owes us that courtesy, especially now that her dogs are no longer in danger due to this incident

okay, i just went back as i got a msg...one of my posts of 17 hours ago is apparently still there, and i got some B telling me i was rude to suggest she put an update up and stop asking for donations until then..i was told that she needs to fix her fences and other property improvements...

Well so do i, my fence is causing me not to be able to let my dogs out w/o supervision, and another msg. that suggested i harbor ethnic/religious prejudice..
yeah, how?!!! i'm a pittie owner and my sister is Muslim, and anyone here who knows me knows where i'm coming from on those counts..
i'm not feeling this whole thing anymore...not in the way it should be anyway.

I know you tried so hard Buffy, and i love and appreciate you for all that you do, but this Rana is starting to get on my last good nerve...1love

Ellen M. You are completely and ethically within your rights to ask those questions! Especially where you are not receiving a satisfiable answer/hearing that monies are being used above and beyond that which is intended. I stand behind your feelings on this 100%. I can only state that those of you who wish to donate to an individual that does not have the courtesy at the very least of signing up and personally giving her own offer of thanks and gratitude, is IMHO...Not worthy of any donation of any kind. Folks...There is an old saying that states "One must be wiser than the serpent" and no one should ever post anything that emotional intimidates anyone into a financial donation of any kind. AND, where money is involved, especially via the use of a third party. The least that the intercessor should do is encourage that individual in need, regardless of being that of an relative, close friend or stranger in need. I fully believe that they make an appearance and express their gratitude themselves. People who operate solely from a place inf the heart as wonderful and good people. However , there are those who have EVERY right to request a confirmation and continual update on the progress, of not only the amount thus collected. But every detail of the proceeding's of the situation at hand.

Ellen M - we stand with you on this subject - and my fence similarly needs repairing too - but I'm not asking for donations, nor are you! Furthermore we know you and have known you for years, in every post you have shown yourself to be an intelligent, compassionate and fairminded person far above even contemplating making the remarks she insinuated in a milllion years! You are infinitely principled, generous and ethical. Her insinuations were utter and unmitigated CHEEK!!!

Thank you my good friend Buffy for the update, brilliant news! Let's hope Lilo and Stitch will come home and that their owner will be able to comply with all the requirements that the Animal Control has recommended - good luck to her, she deserves to get her beautiful dogs back, this should never have happened in the first place!

I am glad that the pets are able to come home..but I think if I had neighbors like that I would be moving...would not be worth the hastle with them and my guess is if anyone else moved next door with dogs there would be something else wrong with them!! Thanks for the forward Diane!

UPDATE:

a copy and paste from Rana,

"Alot of people are confused and not reading the updates. L&S are not home yet. They are still at the city vet. The inspection is Friday hopefully. If not it might be Monday. Once cleared , then its pay all the costs they piled on at the shelter and then I go to the vets office and pick them up."
