I maintain my strong view, the human over breeding has to stop, and stop immediately, and aid to be stopped to the worse offending countries with already far excessive human populations and their continuing over breeding even in-spite of drought, famine etc, which they themselves are helping to cause.

Human population needs to be taken back to 2 billion Max and kept at that, and reforestation, restoration of wildlife habitats, natural environments to begin immediately, and to immediately end building on green / natural environments

Human over breeding by specific country's is the primary threat to planet and all life

We do what we can to reduce and recycle everyday here, but there's much more that can be done, especially by our government. Earth Hour sounds like a great plan. So glad we have the internet to be in touch all over the world.

Unfotunately overweight people are killing us faster than global warming. The cars they drive use more fuel, they use more food, water to shower and soap, more material for their clothing and the list is so long, but just think about it people.

Utterly brilliant video - thanks Buffy and also to Philip for forwarding.

I will be taking part - and so will my two rescue animals (though I am going to have to acclimatise my rescue dog to the dark - we had a power cut and she instantly leaped to her feet, backed towards me and faced the door barking furiously twice per second as though expecting an enemy to come through the door! It only took me ten seconds to put my hands on a couple of rechargable torches but she remained on high alert till the mains electricity came back on - this will take a little work!).
