They've evolved all this time just to be killed off by egotistical, small-brained hunters and climate changed deniers. This is incredibly sad. Such a waste of life.

They say that the Polar Bears ancestry is traced back 600,000 years, so then why are they (Humans) always trying to kill the ones that are here and now with us, should we not protect them so that our Great great grandchildren will be able to see one in the wild ALIVE!!!???

My local Evangelical Pastor says the world is only 6,000 years old so how come the bears are older?

We don't really have to save them. Polar bears like any other wild animal can easily save themselves. They don't want our help, they don't need our help, all we have to do is leave them alone and respect that they are there and belong there much more then us human beings, in fact, we don't belong there at all. Wildlife has no desire to get to know us in any form or way, they have no desire to kill humans but are are merely defending themselves against all the evils men do to them, period! And look at what we do in return?

Good article, very informative. It's especially sad that they're ingesting so many accumulated toxins from further down the food chain!

And no, Ron M., the polar bears don't "NEED US TO SAVE THEM--" unless you consider that "saving them" might comprise taking steps to STOP DOING WHAT WE'RE DOING TO ENDANGER THEM! In that case, yes, they DO need us to save them!

All that said, ISN'T THAT A GORGEOUS PICTURE?! Love, love, love the light.
