All though I am not saying it is right to shoot a dog, dog owners must realize that the main reason why dogs get shot or poisoned is because the owner is allowing the dog to piss somebody off.

Brenda: A simple knock on the door to tell you neighbor your dog is a disturbance should have ended this. Yes, we know why idiots kill animals..

Stupid, idiotic, violent person. The owner of the dog is responsible for its behavior but the solution is not shooting the poor animal, no matter how irritated it makes you!

Stupid drunk out of control politician. Also serves as a great advertisement of the need for gun control. I hope the creep rots.

It is outrageous that people get away with atrocities such as this.

I have mixed feelings about this on several levels, shooting a tiny yipping dog is not really an option I would consider but then I have read The Dirty Pair run to the future and the idea of Yipping Doom ™has an appeal to me especially when it comes to chihuahuas. I remember an urban myth that a Persian cat ate a chihuahua but to shoot it seems to be a bit nasty, but then I have seen people shoot at cats, horses and sheep for fun so there are levels of nastiness.

Never mind the resignation part - if it were my dog I would have gone over to him and broken his bloody kneecaps, the disgusting excuse for a human!
