Good to know that at least not all of the animals are being killed by humans and some are even thriving!

When I was in high school, my science teacher stated that if you wanted immortality, find a new species and name it after yourself. He thought that there were less than 100,000 species total in the whole world. He was wrong on two counts.. The beetles have about that number all by themselves. The second wrong assumption was as soon as you name that species after yourself, how soon will humans make it extinct?
