The scene takes place in Mus, a city located in Eastern Turkey. The people involved are chained a wolf from the leg and make their dogs attack and kill him, which is a very slow and painful death for this wolf. Truley awful.. Gorilly

Dammit!! (I'm upset now). I had already signed, however, here's what I wrote in the space provided, just now, before I found out I signed before. "Your graphic filming of the horrific abuses and death of these magnificent animals is repugnant and sickening. Your extent of violence by the world today, is and will not be tolerated by a civilized world. Your showing the 'party like atmosphere' while this animal is being tortured to die a slow death in great pain, saddens me greatly. For humanity, and all that is decent, stop the cruelty that your people commit against any and all creatures, great and small!!!!!

Amen, Gorilly!!! I had thought that they STOPPED this...but year TWO?? OMG! Horrific, and sickening. Thanks for your vote of confidence in me, and yeah, I know that Care2 monitors all...but I just got carried away (language there). Not just this one genre, but for all the pain and suffering of the animals, and children, etc., etc. that the world's peoples dishes out. I read last night, about the high heels that inflict pain on small animals, and THAT was repugnant at the deaths of those little babies. It goes on and on, doesn't it? But I agree, Fight, Fight, and FIGHT for all babies, and furbabies! TY again, for this awareness and all who note and comment on this.

This makes me sick and angry and - there aren't even words to describe it! The despicable depths of cruelty some people are capable of is astonishing. The eyes of a wolf reflect the world - the wisdom and strength, love and loyalty that is the highest possible expression of animal nature. To see those eyes filled with fear, pleading for help - it breaks my heart and hurts my soul. I only hope that everyone involved in this horrific act, and everyone who is in a position to stop it or prosecute the guilty parties and fails to do so will suffer the same fear and pain as that poor wolf - over and over again.

Sharla and guys we can only hope in the next world we are all together once again all with the creature we try so hard to save...alas the ones beaten down, maimed, killed they will all be there to let us know we tried our best and they will show us what true love is...for the love of an animal from an animal is quite exquisite, undenyable and never ending...dont ever forget that......

Thank you all for what you do for me...I mean not to bring you pain...

I am distressed by the obvious prejudice against these poor rural people. I see no "blood sport" betting or anything like that. All I see are some poor shepherds teaching their dogs to protect their families and livestock from not just a wolf.... a WOLF PACK! I double dog guarantee that if anyone commenting here is faced with a wolf pack, a rifle is not all you need, nor do the wolves look so noble if you are empty handed and without protection of some kind. And yes, the wolf in the film was weak and tied up so the dogs could learn without getting killed themselves. What is depicted is indeed cruel. Yet, is it less cruel to watch your child get trapped by a wolf pack. I mean, did you ever consider the perspective of living in a cabin in rural Turkey with no electricity or running water in your home. All you have is your sheep to eat besides some vegetables laid in for the winter. Again, I see no fun being had here by anyone. I do see men living on the edge of civilization fighting for survival in an age old tradition. I, for one, don't feel qualified to judge them without living with them or walking a mile in their shoes.

Turkey clearly needs to address the actions of some of it's citizens but before we condemn the whole of Turkey we should remember the abuses in Spain against bulls often in name of religion and the idea of repealing anti hunt legislation in the UK by the right wing opposition party and the many abuses in other countries. Of course Spain and the UK are part of the EU! Also the civilistions of Europe are very different to to each other and what some have done for many years which others of us have consigned to the history books, will take education and variuos other measures to eradicate the cruelties inherent in some cultures, which to them are daily normalities. We would do well to remember our own shortcomings before we condemn everyone but we should continue to seek education in kinder ways for all regardless of their nation or culture. The biggst problem with some of the recent and would be entrants to the EU is the diversty of conditions within those countries ranging from stone age existance to palatial pomp and splendour virtually alongside each other and this is something only their individual governments can change!

It also might be worth mentioning the American "sportsman" Micheal Vick is re engaging with his multi million dollar sport in the US having been convicted for in continuous involvement in dog fighting and all that that entails over a long period of time! The Turkish participants in the particular piece of crulty shown in the video clip may well take comfort from what we applaud by our actions in a so called civilised country like the US or indeed any other of the countries that we like to think of as civilised! We have a long way to go before we can be the unsinful first stone throwers of Jesus' words!

Whether this be Turkey or any country. TORTURE IS TORTURE. This is not just about the poor tortured wolf. These dogs have also been sacrificed in order to please these sick assholes. We are dealing with this video in this country. this has nothing to do with EU or America or anywhere else. How did they protect their flock of sheep? Do you think the rest of the Wolf pack are going to see what they did to this wolf and say"oh we better stay away from this place"?I have heard about a Native legend that says that when you pass over-you meet all the animals that you have met on earth and they judge you based on your behavior towards them-whether you continue to bliss or pain. This is a very comforting thought for me personally-and I hope to God that this is true becasue at some point all of these torturers world-wide will finally pay for torturing the innocents. Thank you Gorilly for sharing this. I could not watch the video--thank you for the warning, but I know in my mind how it went anyway. We will continue to fight for these innocents and hope that the vile individuals will all pay in one way or another-either in this world or the next. This hurts my heart.

Chris I dont beleive all people are bad but the ones that do this crap just like Mr. Michael Vick are sick truely sick. My family has had cattle was raised around crap like this and yes we too lost livestock did we go and abuse a wild creature for it???? NO, NEVER once did we. Its natures law. We tried to adjust the best we could to protect them strong cattle in outside pastures and the weaker one closer to home..no it wasnt perfect...but we didnt go out killing wolves or the coyotes we understood there is a price you pay when you have livestock...Just wish more understood that and the laws of mother nature.

Max that is utter rubbish, you dont know what you are talking about. If you know anything about wolves you will know that they dont randomly attack humans. Youve been watching way too many horror films . Step into reality and see this for what it is - a bunch of degenerates torturing an animal and getting off on it.
If they had any sense of community etc they would be promoting wolf watching and tourism and making a hefty profit for their community from the tourism. This abysmal behavior just disgraces their people and their country. Its archaic and degenerate behavior which has no place in any civilised culture. If they were training their dogs you'd think that they would be more careful to ensure their dogs didnt get hurt wouldnt you and if you watch closely you can see the dogs have injuries. Which means they were not training dogs...
Chris call it as you see it, i dont see anyone throwing stones but i do see cruelty that needs to be adressed regardless of its location. Do you not think that people oppose all cruelty especially that in their own country?

My point being we have quite enough blood on our own hands to wash off before having escalating attacks of rightous indignation on what some might call an "uncivilised" nation when many of us live in so called civilised nations like US,UK SA NZ etc etc who all have their own versions of this type of barbarity carried out not only by redneck and neanderthal types but also carried out daily in military and hospital trauma training by so called intelligent individuals at the behest of our respective governments. Pigs goats and monkeys shot at and blown up just to see what happens.Ludicrius exercise in labs fund by our tax dollars to asceratain how many times a monkey can be stabbed before it dies or suffers ill effects. This is the type of sin that prevents us from occupying the moral high ground and that is the sort thing along with such monstrosities as Huntingdown Death Science and labs of their ilk all protected by our slimey bloodstained "civilised" governments. I assume this footage was covertly recorded on a mobile phone or similar as the sound is discontinuous and the video quality would unfortunately not accurately identify any of the subhumans present! If this was the case it is also probable that the recordist would have been in danger themselves had the onlookers realised their evil deeds where being recorded! The strange thing about the dogs behaviuor is their apparent lack of interest their atacks almost half hearted until the hapless wolf is overwhelmed by the pack in the end of the video clip. The sound quality is so poor it is impossible to work out whether the dogs are being goaded to attack for example. The wolf appears to be pulled back by the chain on a couple of occasions but the reason for this is not obvious as we cannot see the whole scene and what may or may not have been happening in the background. Whatever it is not a pleasant 5 minutes and clearly the onlookers do not have the interests of the wolf or the dogs in their remit. So is this a Turkish low budget version of Micheal Vicks activities or the UK Lincolnshire dog fight woman, or some kind of vindictive American style wolf vengance thing like the shooting of wolves that have allegedly killed livestock or the aerial shooting of wolves in Alaska etc! Or the bizarre claims of UK foxhunters that the foxes do unspeakable things to chickens etc and then deny that they breed them when there are not enough of these "pests" and "vermin" to hunt! It is not only a mad world but a very cruel one and if I had bought this world from God's supermarket I would have returned it as not fit for purpose under the UK sale of goods act!

Chris if you watch yes you are correct most of the dogs are just kinda confused but then and I have watched over and over again there is a dog not in the origional mix that they release and he goes in for the kill...I consider this a KILL dog one that they release to finish the job...maybe Im wrong but I know in certian areas where I live they do this to the wild pigs and it isnt right at all...Yes we have it here in the us also. The military and their idiodic tests now thats just unbeleivable to me. Im not calling a whole country ididots just the people that do condone this crap or do it and think its funny. They should have just shot the wolf but no I truely beleive they were training these dogs...The dogs kept looking at thier human counterparts to say as if...is this what you want??? All I am wanting is all the cruelty to stop and now and the peeps that keep doing this crap to be punished...

Gorilly you took the words out of my mouth! it is that lasy bit just before the whole lot have a go but as I said the quality is so awful and it is not what I choose to look at but I'm glad you saw what I meant and the dog to owners or onlookers is a bit difficult to judge as you can't see the returned look, I'm sure you know what I'm getting at there. Anyway it's definately not for anyone of a nervous disposition to watch but I was trying to be objective and work out what I was witnessing which in the light of some of the crap that has been floated on Utube etc could even have been a nasty hoax but I don't think so in this case! And big hugs back to you Gorilly.

I have wondered this myself...I can only say in my opinion that there are diffrent levels of Humanity...We the ones that fight for the animlas and people and the environment are on level 1...to which has empathy..Level 2 is the ones that care more about humans or theirselves with no regards to Mother Earth and all her creatures lacking empathy in some areas..then Level 3 ones who just dont care about anyone, anything no empathy at all...

Thanx Gorilly, hugs back :) That guy Max didnt like my comment he just sent me an ominous message saying just "not impressed". Max just telling it like it is, possibly you know youre wrong, deal with it! There is no exscuse for cruelty.
Chris i agree with you on most of it apart from where you think that anyone that that condemns cruelty is being self rightious because cruelty occurs everywhere...what are you trying to say? That because animal abuse is a global problem we should not condemn it? Plus i think you'l find that all the people here are pretty humble, it goes with the territory, we all sacrifice a great deal to assist those in need, especially the most vulnerable and innocent. Take your logic and apply it to child abuse and perhaps you will see the flaw in it...People are not self rightous because they condemn bad behavior, cruelty, neglect, abuse etc. Only those with an inferiority complex would see it like that and then thats their problem not anyone elses. Animal abuse should be actively opposed and condemned whether it happens where you live or across the world. There is strength in numbers and everyone needs to globally unite against this kind of thing. Some countries ARE worse than others when it comes to animal abuse but all of it needs to be stopped. That said were on the same side lets work together :)

Am I on the right thread? Red N you seem to be implying that my logic excuses the rest of us from concern about anything beit Polanski raping children the cruelty inherent in battery farming, people sitting on death row for years when innocent and the whole gambit of collective nastiness that exists. Perhaps I've spent too much time debating elsewhere with people who are more interested in the words than the subject matter such as politicians, lawyers and academics what might be collectively called the educated ignorant! Let me use an example. Lush has launched a campaign against foxhunting the UK. Now some bright spark is going to jump up and say it's banned! Not so hunting with dogs is banned. However these bloodthirsty idiots are no fools when it comes to circumnavigating the law, removing the evidence of their activities, threatening and using violence against protesters and involving the police in protecting them while they indulge in their illegal activities. So how does this happen. simple the hounds need to be exercised and of course they have no altruistic regard for these hounds as they are fed back to the younger hounds when they are spent. I do love this hunting terminology. So if as is likely whilst excercising hounds amidst a red coated cavalry they come across a foxes scent it is of course difficult if nye on impoosible to stop the hounds who have been bred and trained to do one thing and that is chase and kill foxes and that is of course what happens in every place that hunting continues to flourish often with the police in attendence to protect these nice law abiding, law breakers from the attempts of the Hunt Sabs, League Against Cruel Sports and others who would disrupt these activities and gather evidence of wrongdoing rather like the Sea Shepherd's do for whales against Japan's illegal activities! Google in Hunt Sabs or Lush to sea video footage of these illegal activities by foxhunters. Now the point of my comments about rightous indignation is this and of course it applies to many other nations apart from the UK, except people are under tthe impression that hunting has been banned here! Now if I go to Turkey or China and express my rightous indignation about there animal abuses, well in realtity I'de probaly get locked up or deported but if there was some dialogue with either the perpetrators or the authorties, when they quite rightly came back and said but this activity is not illegal in our country and you are a hypocrit because your government says it's illegal to hunt in your country and yet your police stand by whilst it goes on and even protect those that do it. Now you pardon me for perhaps appearing a bit naive but I don't have an answer to that one any suggestions and of course the very people that don't want this particulaer law to succeed are the lawmakers, judiciary and even the supposed law enforcers! Acting almost in the role of killers assistant by virtually carrying the axe murderers axe and that is a metaphor by the way! I would be interested to see how some of those who have taken issue with that part of my post would respond in the situation I have described! And in case your wondering yes I signed the petition and yes I think Polanksi should face justice and yes I have lent my support to some of the apparently innocent on death row by signing the appropriate petitions and sending letters etc! However I am not going to fall into the trap of announcing all of any nation are cruel as it is most often governments that are to blame either through direct sponsorship of cruelty Such as Canada's seal clubbing and Australias duplicit'y of intent with whale welfare to the UK governments half backed anti hunt laws that don't work or are not enforced as with Spain's bull burning! and in that case the lack of condemnation from the Church!

Too much cruelty is still going on every where on this planet, untill people get up to talk about it and shout out very loudly,it may come to petitions and gatherings and after all i hope that it helps to change the minds.

I totally agree on the fox hunting and the situation will be much worse if the tories get in. I assure you that this has the full attention of campaigners over here.
i think i agree with you on most things but i feel that condemnation of countries for the cruelties that occur in them is a very positive thing because it gets across the message that cruelty besmirches a countries reputation which in turn affects trade and tourism which in turn is an incentive for them to clean up their act. Shaming them is a very effective campaign tool.
i would actively encourage people to loudly criticize the UK for its bloodsports, perhaps it will encourage the powers that be to properly put an end to it.

Tie them up, with nothing to defend themselves, outside a wolf den & see how they like it.

Max,
You obviously know nothing about wolves, and you comment is made up of misinformation. Wolfpaks do noto attack people, and there is not one, not a single documented fact nor case of a wolf or a wolfpack attack a humanbeing. You are dealing in fairy tales and myth. Wolves avoid people at all cost, and whatever misunformation and myth you've been reading, or tales you've been fed is far beyond true and made up fiction. This is the 21st century, and misinformtion is no excuse for cruelty or fairy tales made into made up fiction. If you have any proof whatsoever I, and the rest of the members here would dearly love to read this "documented fiction"..
You do not train dogs to attack any living creature let alone a wolfpack. Wild dogs left and abandoned cause more damage and harm to humans and wildlife than any made up fables and fairy tales about wolves or wolfpacks.

I've seen this videoa while back,i always make myself watch all video's i come across, not that i get the kicks out of cruelty, but just for the info on what the story is about, and to get a new boost to remind myself keep up the fight
This video also made me pissed of.These kind of hunts make me sick, well, any hunt that is.If it's a festive hunt, a hunt because they think the wolves are a danger to them or just for fun hunt,it doesn't matter. It's all wrong.
But to see that wolf trying to defend itself against the dogs, but has no chance,to see it go seek help from the dead wolf
already on the ground (at least, that is what it looked like),made me cry.And to see all those people surrounded chearing,or just watching pisses me of big time, pardon my language.
I already signed the petition agaisnt this, and did sent letters to Turkey

I'm sickened, angered, horrified and heartbroken. Once again, man proves just how "evolved" and "moral" he is.

This is man at his sickest and most evil, I despair of this world and that anyone who calls themself a human being could even contemplate justifying this. Let karma commence as soon as possible, I hope the bas*!*ds rot in hell.
