Each year the state-owned organization "Tsentr Identyfikatsiyi Tvaryn" (the Center for Animals Identification) controlled by the Kiev City Administration butchers cruelly tens of thousands of stray cats and dogs.

Awful - I signed this petition in June 2006 - and still the cruelty continues.
Anyone who hasn't already - PLEASE SIGN.

Absolutely horrible..signed petition in June...This barbaric mass murdering of the poor innocent unwanted strays seems to be all over europe, these countries are still so backwards. How can they walk past these abandoned animals and feel nothing in their hearts...Cold blooded people, no love, sympathy, compassion, God if this is how grown ups treat the animals, how are the young people supposed to learn respect and compassion????...they cant...
