What is most upsetting about Crocker's book is that she promotes the consumption of fish and honey within its pages. While some vegans do not take issue with honey, the idea of a "bible" is that it is a sacred text which outlines the beliefs of a group.

"vegans have lost a certain sense of mouth feel"

This sentence really bugs me! What a ridiculous claim! Since when did "feel" become a noun in this sense. Grrr. I wouldn't buy the book on weird assertions and grammar alone, apart from the references to fish and honey!

That's certainly no vegan book, let alone a "Bible"!! It's rubbish.
