March 12 (Reuters) - Tesco Plc, Britain's biggest grocer, said on Tuesday it withdrew its line of frozen meatloaf after it tested positive for between 2 to 5 percent horsemeat.

Terrible they're using horsemeat & not even labeling it, to give consumers the real ingredients. Poor horses don't have a way out of the slaughterhouse. !

It wouldn't be any different in the US if horse slaughter plants are pending in at least 3 states that I know of. Ironically, USDA food safety inspectors would be cut due to Sequestration, making this toxic horse meat more likely, BUT, USDA food safety inspectors ARE required at horse slaughter plants to operate. HELLO, Gravity Check!!!! It would also put US wild horses in danger of slaughter...all those wild horses stuck in BLM holding pens.
