The Drone That Fell From the Sky

The skies seem full of falling drones these days. The most publicized of them made headlines when Iran announced that its military had taken possession of an advanced American remotely piloted spy aircraft, thought to be an RQ-170 Sentinel.

"The sky is falling. The sky is falling."

Little Red Hen's clucking is translated into evening news.

I am so glad that I am healed from high anxiety and panic attacks.

I had them bad back in the days when I was dying, over 3 years ago.
I had OCD so bad that I would have to return 2 or 3 times to my
apartment to make sure I had turned everything off. Then, I'd have
to get off of the bus and go back to check again.

Kiddo, I was S-I- C-K!!!, physically, mentally, emotionally,
spiritually. I was going blind and dying. It was BAD. I
determined the first thing I had to do was get well --
full concentration, GET WELL!

If I started with the spiritual, the rest would follow. It did.
I completly surrendered to my Higher Power and the
miracles started rolling in. Miracles astonishing doctors,
dentists, psychiatrists. Second opinions confirming.
Xrays proving, I'm healed. And I've remained healed
for over 3 years.

I no longer have anxiety...perhaps a few minutes and I
holler, "Here, BOSS, I'm putting this on your desk."
How quickly it is solved.

Christianity may not be the path for you. I'm not trying
to convert anybody. Everyone of us, however, is made
up of body, emotions, memories, mind spirit.

For me, my surmise was correct. When I got well
spiritually, by surrender, the rest of the healings,
followed. I continue to live a life of miracles
from the little to the huge!!!

My HP has also provided much education along the way.
I highly recommend a book I got out of the library, "The
Worry Cure". It's psychology so it's ok for atheists and
sceptics to read. lol Not a religious word in it.

Remaining healed is as important as the healing. I have
learned about nutrition, controlling my mind, exercise,
gratitude and many more important aspects of
"wellness".

I am grateful.

I'm one of those people who, when the floor needs sweeping, grabs a broom! Now people simply start the iRoomba to do the sweeping while they go off to start the bread machine and the dishwasher! At least they are in the house if something goes wrong, or are they?

What were the original reasons for going into drone technology? Was it to reduce pilot/crew deaths or capture? Was it to make more missions available? Is it a cost issue --- I don't know what the cost of the drone is itself, and then the support costs for pilot, technician, computers, satelite time (if needed) etc? Or was it just an idea to make more money by someone in the military-industrial complex? People get all fired up by tecnology --- after all, the imagination is a wonderful thing. But are the skill sets necessary to intelligently operate such things in place? According to the article, one of the crashed drones was piloted by a 'pilot' that had failed several important skill tests, but he had done well acedemically. I take it he never went to Top Gun training!

Let's not let technology get ahead of our skills and ethics. If this technology is suppopsed to allow a less invasive precision strike, I believe the term might be a surgical strike, then morre planning and training is needed. Or perhaps better malpractice insurance is needed.

So there are 31 drones that have crashed and are potentially being backwards engineered. The software has been hacked. Won't be long before drone missions are being flown against the US.

It's not just a great deal of money that's been lost --not to mention time, research and development. They have in their possession an actual working model and will soon be able to use our own technology against us.

Whatever happened to self destruct circuits????

Thanks Kit - too much for me to comment on except to say they will be used against us.

What we use against others will eventually be used against us. America is waging a world wide war against a faceless enemy. The more people we kill, the more enemies we create.
Why are we doing this?
We certainly aren't making the world a safer place for us or our children.

I would think the US would have a destruct system built into the drones when they lose control of them. The missiles could be activated to destroy the drone.

It's a Bird, It's a Plane, Oh God it's the Drone. Now what do we do. Our technology has fell into the wrong hands. Their should of been a self distruct mode if things like this happen.

I just thought of something. I hope the Drones don't have a Mother Ship.

Drones are cowardly weapons used by cowards who do not want to see the actual effects of war.

Was wondering about the drone. Article does not say much -- does it?

What was the point in making war instead of learning how to relate to the people in other countries -- the mistake was made long ago by some of the people. Maybe they thought they had to make war -- maybe there was a misunderstanding. THE ENEMIES ARE NOT USUALLY THE PEOPLE; THEY ARE USUALLY -- FEAR, MISUNDERSTANDING, DISTRUST, AND ANGER, AND HATRED. THE SOLUTIONS ARE LEARNING TO OVERCOME THE FEAR, TEH MISUNDERSTANDING, THE DISTRUST, THE ANGER, AND THE HATRED. IF PEOPLE CAN NOT GET ALONG, THEN HOW ABOUT IN AGREED UPON DIFFERENT COUNTRIES -- AND NO FIGHTING AT THE BORDERS.

IF YOU HATE A PEOPLE -- THEN USUSALLY YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT THEM AND HAVE SOME GOOD TIMES TOGETHER.

Who cares about wars and things that make wars. Wars and weopons only hurt the people who use them and the people who get hurt by them.

I hope the drone explodes and kills off some of those mujadeen in Iran. Their defective interpretation of islam is a threat to the world.

The drone in Iranian hands- the best thing that happened lately. I hope they tell Pakistanis and Afghanis how they did it. Iranians are NO danger to the west, unless they are bombed by the two western warmongers first.

If the man- made drone didn't fly, nothing would have happened. I'm tired of those "war-games".It seems that the US is a war-loving country; they need "enemies" to justify drones. How sick that is.
