Good on you to place this here Kit. I hope others will forward and tweet it along.

Thanks for standing up for Richard O'Dwyer. His prosecution represents a threat to the whole Internet, and we need to wake more people up and get them involved if we're going to win this battle. Please urge your friends to sign on too.

I'm afraid to see how this witch hunt will turn out. Never mind that this extradition would be illegal. Signed. Thanks Kit.

"America is trying to prosecute a UK citizen for an alleged crime which took place on UK soil."

+++++++++++++ In addition to the business aspect of this issue.....freedoms of speech and artistic expression are under attack in many parts of the world.

Look at Geert Wilders, for example. If he writes an article or illustrates his comments with a simple cartoon....he can be prosecuted under "hate laws" which have been passed to limit speech in countries around the world.

These are scary times!

What a terrible precedent this sends ! And all because BIG companies think they could be making more money.
I use sites like O'Dwyer's frequently, and the truth is, if I can't watch something for free, as I did for most of my life, I won't.

Signed !

You beat me posting this, thanks Kit. I have already signed earlier. Yes, scary indeed, how the US's long arms are trying to reach out farther and farther and how the Hollywood lobby hijacked the courts.

Signed and noted, thanks Kit. You're right, if this can happen to ONE person it can happen to any of us. All that is required for evil to triumph is that good people do nothing. Never truer than today.
