Wizards of I.D. Conservatives and their media division are up in arms over voter fraud, coincidentally almost entirely in swing states with Republican-controlled legislatures.

Love it! I think his last statement about leash laws for unicorns really shows how how much voter fraud is a problem.

We need a voice of humor and perspective out there. While all the TV and radio news, even print media will bring us down, makes ya feel down right depressed; Jon Stewart allows us to laugh at the folly all around.

The only fraud is what the Republican Taliban is trying to pull off.

If the GOP is so concerned about Voter Fraud, then they should all walk straight to their prison cells and start serving their time and pay their fines.

Thank you dearest Kit. YUP, I'm finally getting a sense of humor these days. Thank whomever you choose to call God, it happened PRIOR to the nervous breakdown I was a fingernail away from only 2 weeks ago! Mwaaah Kit!

Jon Stewart: "Well I hope we have our best people on it."

Now to the Fox News Voter Fraud Unit........

I think I'll use Terrie Williams comment she gave to my story of Mitt Romney on Trust him concerning his taxes, for that comment, will be perfect for the Trusted Fox New Voter Fraud Unit....

Thanks Kit for the laugh here, and Terrie for that chuckle she gave me on my story. We need comic relief for these sad days.

Absolutely brilliant. Writing a letter right now to Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, my two Senators about that leash law for unicorns. I'd write my Rep too but he's a Republican, sigh, and probably already on it.

Ty Kit.

The GOP/Republicans are the Fraud Fake 'n Bake Masters. . .they teach the classes and conduct the training ops. . .

"Lightweight" high jinx . . .

"GOP Party Probes Official as Teacher of Tricks," Washington Post, 10 Aug. 1973

1973: FBI investigation: Lee Atwater, in signed affidavit, August 13, 1973, said he heard a "20 minute anecdote similar to the one described in the Washington Post" in July 1972 [re: Rove used a false identity and "stole" dem candidate campaign letterhead] . . . "it was a funny story during a coffee break."

1986: "tight-tight" race in Texas. . .Rove announces he found a listening device in his office. Public buys it. . .Clement [Republican] wins. Device never found...never mentioned by Rove again. Just GOP SOP Fraud is Fun antics. . .

2004: ". . . he has both an understanding of the media's unstated self-limitations and a willingness to fight in territory where conscience forbids most others." ―Joshua Green, "Karl Rove In A Corner," The Atlantic, Nov. 2004

2012 : Coming to every town near you. . .GOP Fraud is Fun. . .now with exponents "ON STEROIDS" . . .

Thanks Gene, we must take that leash law for unicorns very seriously! I do hope every one will get on that.

One of the other issues Jon addressed was a call in by Karl Rove telling one of the FOX (news?) casters that by reporting some nonsense, about the republicans was promoting the democrats. The guy actually apologized on TV to Rove. Not to say that Rove still RUNS the republican/T's or anything...but....

The Reich-wing is always complaining about the over-reach and legal intrusion by Government in our lives, yet they spend Millions of Our Dollars trying to enact laws that Even RepubliCON Lawyers can't find more than a few instances to justify! BUT goodness knows we shouldn't worry about Election Manipulation by these SAME Voter Supressionists! After all, purging voter rolls will shorten the amount of time it takes for Reich-wing hackers & "poll monitors" to Change the Outcome of "legal election results"!!!!

I'm not worried about voter fraud. It's election fraud we need to beware of. You know, like what happened in 2000, 2004 . . .

How great it is that you guys get it! Now go and do something about it while you still can. Voter Fraud is not real, election fraud is very real and this election is balancing on the head of a pin.

I kind of like how Conan, Colbert & Stewart have become possibly the most insightful political commentators about the election in broadcast media this year (with the possibl4e exception of Maddow).

Adding my thanks for the comic relief, Kit. I never miss Daily/'s where I get my TV news now. Couldn't stand another minute of anyone besides Rachel since Keith left. (Although I'm looking forward to Joy on CurrentTV next mo....and CurrentTV has some other good shows to check out).
The only real concern should be those Diebold machines still being used in 30% of America. Votes can be flipped from a great distance with a part from Radio Shack that costs less than $1.00. That's how Bush won OH.

Kit B (276)

An Amen to that Lois. I just hate the days when Jon is not on the air. I missing Bill Maher and ready for him to begin the new season.

Bush won in 2004 due to long line and up to 174k leaving before voting. Bush won by a little over 100k.

Thanks Kit. Truly amazing how FOX can take a story made up by the Republicans, run with it, and then the Republicans act like it's God's truth. Can it get any crazier? I'm afraid so. And I miss Bill Maher, also. Looking forward to having him back on the air. I also enjoy Rachel Maddow.

We can all sleep better tonight knowing that the Fox News' Voter Fraud Unit is on the case. What they really need is a Journalist Fraud Unit. I don't think any of them actually qualify as such.

Very funny stuff! I'm glad the ridiculous and self-serving antics of the GOP are getting this kind of exposure.

Leash laws for unicorns, indeed.

I also must say, can we not prosecute these law makers who are consciously, knowingly and deliberately passing these unconstitutional and illegal laws? Is there no accountability on the part of lawmakers?

Of course, we have left it up to the lawmakers to hold themselves accountable. No wonder we are in the state that we are in.

I wrote Senator Dubious Rubio and Representative Looney Rooney here in Florida about this. Both of them thanked me for sharing my concerns with them and while they both denied being on the committee devoted to this issue, they would keep me apprised of the efforts Issah is making in finally bringing the Unicorn Leash law to a vote. They also offered their apologies for not being able to devote more time and energy to this issue as they were busy removing voting booths and machines from several locations around Florida. In certain areas they were replacing more modern machines with the older kind that produced those hanging chads we are all familiar with from the 2001 election.

Who knew a comment on Care2 could make me laugh as much as watching Jon Stewart. Michael, ROTFLMAO.

Thank Zeus or Jupiter or both, I was getting worried about those Florida machines but now I know that both the machines in Florida and the Unicorns will be fixed.
Ummm...if the Unicorns are fixed do they still need leashes?

Time to stop laughing and DO SOMETHING about ELECTION FRAUD PERPETRATED BY THE GOPigs, Liars, twisters of reality, manipulators, fear-mongering, despicable, evil tbagger/republiKKKLAN/extremists.
Only a blight from God on every republican lawmaker can end this FASCIST, HATEFUL REGIME.
