What would you like to know about where Obama stands? Any issue you can construct is presented here with full disclosure. Whether or not you agree is another question, the fact is this web does address each possible question.

Where does this candidate stand? Go to just this one web-site and you can see for yourself. Yes, Mitt Romney has a site that almost the same, but address the question to his policy on any single issue compare that to what he said, say yesterday and you more than one Romney. I don't even need to compare what he said a few years ago, I can just compare what he has posted on this site with his most recent interview on "Meet The Press", I find much lacking in this man.

Try hammering Jello to wall some time - that what it is like to get a final commitment from Romney. Obama has his years in the Senate, his four years as president all a lasting legal record. Could any president have moved this "recovery" along faster? We can not answer that, no one can. I do know the simple fact is that nothing in the Ryan plan could have done that, again compare the line by line policies of one with some ideas that use basic math and other (Ryan) that gloss over the math.

We are defined by our actions NOT our words. So these quotes mean nothing. They contradict his actions.
It's time we demanded substance from our President and Representatives. We are outrages at crimes citizens commit and thefts they commit but hold the most pwerful people in the Nation to a much lower standard. We expect more from our neighbors than from our lawmakers.

What quotes? This web-site is not a collection of quotations, it is a quick way to discover policy stands.

It is quotes. At the head of each topic is a link to click on for the "full quotes" which correspond to the summary titles under each, finance, etc.

Okay Jill, if we can't tell anything about a politician from what he says, only from his actions, then we can't pay attention to anything Romney is saying, and we can only judge Romney on his actions. You Teabaggers hate Obamacare and want it repealed, and you really hate that a politician got elected who would pass Obamacare, right? Well with that criteria we are left judging what kind of president Romney would make only by what he did as governor of Mass. His signature, his proudest legacy that had the biggest impact on Mass was Romneycare, you know, the plan Obamacare was modeled after.

So if you refuse to agree that candidates' quotes tell us where they really stand, the only example of Romney's actually achieving something politically is Romneycare. He is a candidate who would give us Obamacare--- oops! I mean Romneycare 2.1 So apparently, Romney is a socialist. Are you going to vote for a socialist, Jill?

Quote or not quotes...that isn't the point of the topic and even if it's just beyond any words at this time to me ..that anyone would say that a person can't learn something about a topic due to it's being a quote ...that to me could only come from a person who has no understanding of how the learning process works...Didn't you attend a school Jill that taught from books, using quotes and or the summeries of the thoughts/opinions and fact found by them that appeared in any of books ? I mean really...what a lame comment that was of yours..."means nothing' and as well as you reasoning for it...due to it's quotes? .
There are bullet points and then you can link to the 'quotes' to find out what they are about.. Anything said by one person that is repeating the words of another is a 'quote' . That's how the media of the written Jill. Maybe meaningless for you Jill, but to many these 'bullet points/quotes/opinions' all do mean something

Now let me ask you...don't you have any reason other than their being quotes as a basis of your ''mean nothing'' comment.... or do you actually have an opinion of the issues ?

So I take it that you would never listen to anything Romney had to say about something Obama said..would you .....!?

Seriously....I'm really trying to understand how your thinking as to these issues being meaningless based soley upon their being 'quotes' of anothers thoughts/opinions/facts as a part of the article/issues etc.......and not based upon anything within the article as to the issues themselves.

I rather do wish more people thought like that when it comes to things like the bibles of various religions which are based on being meaningless...I think those I've read are due to having read them and I can easily say..point by point...issue to issue', based on what the 'quotes ' are all about as my reasons for my believing them to be meaningless...not just that they are meaningless due to their being ' quotes'.
Not sure if you will even understand the difference but give it a try ..if you do understan the difference than give it at go at making a comment as to what it is about 'the issues' that you find meaningless..I think that would be a good idea if you want anyone to take your comment as anything other than meaningless and that you actually understand the issues and actually have an opinion about them.

As always Obama supporter assume anyone critical of Obama must be a Romeny supporter. You cannot tellwhere either of them stand on an issue by what they say during election time. They both lie. quite frankly they don't even say much except a bunch of general statements.
If I have to have alable it would be Prgressive. Therefore I don't support Romeny OR Obama since both are conservatives. By today's standards Nixon would be consdiered a liberal. That should bother "liberals' to know that they have let the Democrats drag them to the right wing without so much as a fight. Yet still strut around claiming they are liberals with liberal values yet look the other way when a conservative Democrat leases more offshore drilling than the previous conservative President, Cheer him on while he pushes a conservative healthcare law that came out of the Heritage Foundation (a conservative organization) embraced by Romeny (they guy they claim to hate for his conservative agenda)and shoved down our throats by the conservative Democrats. The self proclaimed libberals cheer Obama on for passing a right wing healthcare law that only gives more Medicare money to private insurance companies, quarentees them millions more cusotmers/victims making them even more powerful and influencial in Wahsington. And you all cheered that on.
He did allthis at at ime when 2009 was the year for single payer healthcare, the guy who said give me a majority of Democrats in the Senate and House and I will pass single payer. He lied. He had all that but HE, by himself siad no single payer from day one in office. He would not even talk about it. Liar.
Should we discuss the Presdient who promised transparency who has had secret meetings with insurance CEOs to help write this barbaric legislation for healthcare?
How about his secret "kill" list?
How about is prosecuting more whistleblowers than ALL precious administrations combined? Just because they exposing his sick secret programs and saying things HE doesn't like.
You two are closer to the tea partiers than I. I still in the left wing which is apparently so far from your right wing you cannot even see my point of view without name calling. you refuse to even admit your Obama's crimes afraid you'll lose your "liberal" label for defending and living in denial for a conservative President.

All well and good Jill ...the above would have made sense in the first place had you simply posted all that and not posted a 'meaningless' statement that something that is a quote isn't worth reading . Glad to see you actually have an opinion on many of the things in the 'quotes'...many of which I agree with, the majority in fact...some I don't but I do want to say that I personally appriciate your above post a lot and you've pointed out a lot of food for thought for others in my opinion. These are the kinds of comments needed on the point so that nearly everyone understands ones views clearly, regardless if they are the same as theirs or not and that is how we progress on to hopefully.

Fact is currently we have to make a decision to vote for one or the other..Obama / not vote is not an option in my opinion, and to vote for a third party...not this round as none have a chance at winning...not due to their politices but due to lack of campaing funding. Maybe in the next election...but for this one...I think not. I am a progressive who has been very disapointed in Obama but when it comes to voting for what I see as a disapointment or for the one that I see as a crisis of 'biblical porportion' , as the saying goes, on top of the ones we already have waiting to happen......then Obama will get my vote. He has done some things I favor and that I think is for the betterment of things in general, just not all that I had hoped he would or could in the first four years of his Presidency.
I believe that nothing will change unless the people first demand and get the Supreme Courts Green Signal they sent to Corporations that it's auction time when it comes to our politicans over-turned/ended...and do so a.s.a.p.

LOL> profile to be found for BIllie C...and one with about as limited of info about them as possible on that...just here for the rightwinger choir or just for the insaniTea of their statements...?

Christine, as much as I would prefer using the full word/as it's spelled...the "F" word as you have written actually is a no no on care2 via their members rules...but then you don't really care or come here for any purpose than someone in your RNC circle sent you a Troll needed on the from lines for my guess.

Facts are Chrisitne is that Romney doesn't make the policies of the Republican Party..he can't do crap without their say so and they sure as hell aren't going to let him do any of the things you say he will , not even if he could...which he can't...nor does he really want to according to his past record/business well as his political one to date. He's outsourced the jobs of many f those same struggling moms you've mentioned for starters...and he's as much on the take of the Oil Industry, nearly as much as the Bush family.

You are right about one thing Billie C. doub the minds of the majority of people around the world..Bush did it!

The following is a care2 public service announcement via me :-) :

Maurice --

I know we've been asking a lot from you lately. What I'm asking today is easy -- but critical if we want to win this election.

Please take a moment to commit to vote this fall, and get at least one other person to do the same.

In a matter of days, voting will have already started in some states, and I just want to know that you plan to do your part to make sure Barack gets four more years to move this country forward.

Please say that you'll vote, and get others to join you.

We know what's at stake this year. And if each of us makes the commitment to vote now and gets others excited about doing the same, we'll be one step closer to winning this election.

So check your registration, pledge to vote this year, and then get your friends and family to do the same:

Thanks for all you do,

Jill Stein, Green Party has funding. she is the first third party candidate to qualify for matched public funds.
since everyone here puts a lot of stock in quotes more than actions, here is one.
"I'd rather vote for something I want and not get it than vote for something I don't want, and get it."
Eugene V. Debs
If we keep voting for who has the most most money from corporations then we just keep doing their bidding and trap us in this Oligarchy plummeting to the bottom. but this is what most Americans want.

I love the quote - how do you know that a politician is lying - they are moving their mouths - so that is my opinion and now many states are not allowing write-in voters - I am not even sure Bugs Bunny isn't a globalist!
