Jon offers some humor of course, then offers a segue into his interviews with our veterans, though well trained; can not find work. Also, Medal of Honor winner Dakota Meyer discusses his new book. Well worth watching.

An excellent show, if you have not watched the full episode than do yourself a favor and watch. This one will take you from laughter to tears or anger...maybe both.

I am so thankful that Jon put this Up Front. I watched this last night and it's truly heartbreaking that our veterans
are So disrespected.

I completely agree Sue, now share that with the republicans in Congress who voted against the veterans. Veterans are fine to have around when you want to sell a new war. Otherwise, just don't think about them, don't try to address the very real problems when they get home, the need for jobs, medical care, housing, education.

I particularly liked Donald and Sarah waiving their right to compensation for usage of the footage, or endage, of their private lives. Great show, Kit. I think Jon ought be running something other than a comedy show. Then again, he's entirely too reasonable, but if Al Franken, one of my Senators, could make the transition, so could Jon!

Thanks Gene. Jon is not interested in being a politician. Or I should say, he has made that statement. We need him doing what he does best, allowing us all to laugh at the silliness. As a country we take ourselves far too seriously.

There are so many things that could be done to streamline many things. This certainly is one of those places and an urgency should be placed here, the two parties should agree on this one, the sad sacks that they are, this is not a place they should dispute.

The young man made it pretty clear, help them with a resume and have the credentials already in their hand with the needed diploma and or certificates. All tests waived they have proven themselves already.

My tears with Dakota Meyers part of the video.

This was not Jon's funniest show, but it might just be the best one. There is no better way to support the troops than (a) bring them home (b) give them a job. This show was taped on the same day the House republicans voted "NO" on a bill to help the returning veterans.

So tur and so very sad. On top of this, our goernment is seeking to reduce the ehalth care of those who have given decades to the service of this country. In a phrase, it sucks and that's why I could never vote for this administration.
