Love Happens -- Even Across The Street From The Westboro Baptists

While this may look like your average wedding video, the fact that it's a lesbian couple getting married across the street from the infamous hate-filled Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kan., makes it all the more beautiful.

I loved the element of transforming the neighborhood from a place of hate to a place of love.

Jeez I can't even watch a wedding video without shedding a tear. What a beautiful, beautiful wedding ~ love the flags, love the fact they had it in the front yard where everyone could share in their happiness, love the rainbow house! I wish Kim and Katie all the happiness in the world ~ love is love! Thank you for sharing this Kit!

I'll add my congratulations, may they stay happy always. Didn't see any petition there, though Don't know the background story about that church, but it would have been nice if some folks of that church would have witnessed that wedding to hopefully get convinced of that love.

Could not see it, on my old system, but the music was beautiful.
I was told, yesterday, when I was on Pike's Peak, that on a clear day I would have been able to see as far as Kansas, and would have loved to see the frown on the clown who runs the Westboro circus!

In this world of so many tears is lovely to see Happy Faces. I hope that love from the rainbow house flows across the street.

A very nice way to start the day --- LOVE!

A number of years ago, I was feeling very, very defeated, very down. I asked my father for a hug, a hug I needed desperately that would say 'everything will be OK.' My father pushed me away. Being single, I had no life partner to lean on when I needed to lean for strength.

I celebrate Kimberley's and Katie's love and marriage. I celebrate their commitment to each other. I celebrate their PLP (Personal Leaning Place)!

I read an article, I think last year about this home. It showed the revival of the building. Them painting it in vibrant colors and their willingness to show these hateful people, that hate will not stand. I love this. Never back down against a wrong and the Westboro people are dead wrong.

Thanks Kit. I was wondering what was happening in this house of love. Now I know.

It's all good!
