If only we had more members of Congress like Bernie Sanders, imagine what we could accomplish. We need to overturn Citizens United and get the corporate cash out of our election system, or we'll never see more rep.s who truly stand up for the rights of the average citizen the way he does! Thanks, Kit.

Petition already signed.

The best "Grand Bargain" would be to gut the bloated military and its contractors
budget by 50%. Let's not forget to cut the NSA budget by 75% as well.

Keep Social Security out of this as SS is NOT part of the federal budget.

ty, Kit.

The Republicans have been trying to get rid of Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid ever since we got them. They fought them when they were being written into law and did not one single thing to help with them. Quite the contrary, they all voted against everything on them. Social Security is self funded and has its own account and is not connected to the budget and is not a part of the budget. The Rs simply want to get their greedy hands on the money in that account. There is no reason to cut any of them. We pay for our Medicare (it is not free) and we invested from our FICA from our paychecks all during our working years and paid into Social Security. That money is ours. Our employers also contributed to that fund. The Rs seem to think it is a giant piggy bank for them to raid. Well, they can keep their grimy little mitts off all of them. Those funds do not belong to them. They don't care if they make us destitute, after all WE pay their wages, WE pay their insurance, WE pay their huge retirement benefits. They live off us, we do not live off them.

Linda, Tom cat and Barbara said it for me..
I'll keep it that before I get too upset at the NEVER ENDING GREED based on LIES
(That Obama is even considering this when he knows they dont affect the deficit really angers me..and why isnt he demanding no more tax loopholes, no more safe havens for money and WHY is he rushing thru the TPP???)
