By a 5-4 majority, the Court struck down an Ohio law that would make it harder to lie in political ads, arguing instead that "any attempt to restrict or punish lying by politicians is an unconstitutional infringement on a religion [....] *HUMOR*

Nice laugh, but you know that they, the SCOTUS Majority of 5 Black Robed Corporate Whores are going to say the same crap that has come from all or nearly all other US courts, state and federal, since political speech is not the commercial sale of goods it does not fall under Truth in Advertising.

Let me get this straight.
If you have been committing a certain sin for a very long time, it becomes part of your religion, which makes it O.K.?

It's also, proclaims that the members of the Supreme Court who voted for this ridiculous conclusion are not religious, by any stretch of the imagination.
In fact, they have _no_ values and/or _no_ morals.

In fact, furthermore, I'm certain that their mental health is not in a proper state for them to be judging anything.
Some psychiatric intervention is in order, really.

I hope, Charlene you do realize this is SATIRE and not to taken as something serious?

Yes, Kit, thank you for reminding me.
I got a little carried away with the thought that this could actually, happen, with this group of lunatics.

One thing is certain: as soon as politicians invoke religion, you know they going to lie through their teeth and sell the public some big fraud.
