Well well well, tell us something we don't know! Of course, Bush's answer is to sweep it under that filthy White House carpet and move on.

BUSH THE ARBITRARY DICTATOR; A LAW UNTO HIMSELF, ANSWERING TO NO CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, TO NO COURT OF JUSTICE.

Also today, Bush's statement that he had commuted Libby's 30-month prison sentence because it was "excessive" drew a quizzical response from the trial judge in Libby's case, U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton. In an opinion ordering Libby to begin serving supervised probation, Walton noted that the prison term was "consistent with the bottom end" of federal sentencing guidelines.

"The court is somewhat perplexed as to how its sentence could accurately be characterized as excessive," Walton wrote.

And now GWB just wants us to "move on"?? Of course, so that he can continue his pillage of the world and our nation without any limitations! And Cate, I don't think he knows what the word TRUTH really means though it would be great to get some--but how would we know it was true, considering the source?

Even aquireing the 2/3 req.,this would then fall under immunity as a secerit. Should it-perhaps,depends,but as this unit was operateing "covert",anything,at all,or,even a lack,in some areas, does tell much to thouse train,so,no,on this nothing should be out in public, though it should be gone into by Congress-with NO LEAKS either.

"Truth" is an abstract concept to dictators. Truth is whatever George wants it to be. Sociopathic, psychopathic, homicidal son of a bitch.......

this is great stuff, the more public outcry against bush and his cronies the sooner he is gone.Question: if bush was impeached is Cheney pres? scary thought. i guess we would have to have a double impeachment, and then Pelosi would be pres, i think????

Disgusting man...only admits truth when he knows he can't be touched. What a jerk! He is guilty of every single thing that has happened for which he blamed others-he should be held accountable along with Cheney for high crimes and misdemeanors. Serge, we impeach them both. Yes, Pelosi will be President but not for long. That beats these two all to heck. Noted

All part of the NeoCON/Bu$h PNAC Plan ...

www.crisispapers.org/essays6w/PNAC.htm

Just in case some think all Americans are naïve - unaware of the results their actions - read, for example, Ralph Peter's article, Constant Conflict in the 1997 US Army War College Quarterly.

“There will be no peace. At any given moment for the rest of our lifetimes, there will be multiple conflicts in mutating forms around the globe. Violent conflict will dominate the headlines, but cultural and economic struggles will be steadier and ultimately more decisive.

The de facto role of the US armed forces will be to keep the world safe for our economy and open to our cultural assault. To those ends, we will do a fair amount of killing.

We are building an information-based military to do that killing. . . . . ”

The pathological problem with the neoconservatives is that they are myopic - unwilling to see, or hear criticism of, what conflicts with their ambition. They do not care how many people are killed. Morality does not exist in their corporate quest.

READ THAT AGAIN ...

THERE WILL BE NO PEACE ....

Bu$h and PNAC = perpetual war and endless $$$ for Bu$h's war toys to line the pockets of his cronies/defense contractors!

Bush described as "fair and balanced" his decision to commute the prison term of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, the former aide to Vice President Cheney who was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice for his role in the leak of Plame's identity.

Fair and balanced? According to who?? Bu$h? I do not care whether we are republican or democrat...or any party..or no party...we have the right to have the truth regardless....

And the ultimate responsibility must be laid at the ultimate authority, the man who indeed insists that it was his imperial will alone that launched the invasion: George W. Bush. True, it's painfully obvious that he is the witless mouthpiece of ideological extremists like Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney--those Bolsheviki of the boardroom. In fact, Bush is apparently ignorant of the actual events that led up to the war: in one of his very rare unscripted remarks, he panicked and told reporters last week that he invaded Iraq only after Saddam Hussein "wouldn't allow UN inspectors into the country"--a breathtaking display of disassociation from reality.

Nonetheless, this fatuous delusionary willingly placed himself at the head of the extremist junta that is now bankrupting his own country and killing thousands of innocent people as it runs roughshod over the world. His carefully-cultivated ignorance doesn't excuse his guilt. He may hope, as his accomplice Tony Blair pathetically declared last week, that "history will forgive us" for waging war under false pretenses; but in their unmarked graves, the murdered dead will forever call him to account

I don`t care if this moron has 3 days left in office. He needs to be impeached. And we need to have on record that we attempted to impeach. He`s acting like a child having a tantrum. And spiteful too.
