Read this well-researched expose of Tania Head - hailed as a survivor who helped others feel better about their loved ones. Was this a fantasy? If so, WHY did she do it?

She could have done it to be in the Lime-Light and her little claim to fame, but until more proof comes out, she's innocent until proven guilty....right? If she wasn't a victim of 9/11, she wont be the first that jumped on the empathy bandwagon for fame. Noted

Merrill Lynch is a personal friend of mine, even though I do not invest in his company. I have known Merrill for years, and we used to go on motorcycle rides through the country side of Massachusetts when he took time off from his firm. Merrill is a great guy, but I haven't seen him since I hung up my helmut. Maybe one morning I'll take a ride to the Route 18 Dunkin Doughnuts shop, and maybe I'll run into him there. Or I could call. It would be very easy for me to veryify Ms. Head's obvious lies about her survival on 9/11.

If Ms. Head's story is true, she should be willing and able to provide the information being requested. If it is untrue, then I cannot agree with her that she has done nothing wrong...But she does deserve the opportunity to justify and verify her story.

As for Mr. Merrill Lynch - a fabrication. Were you just attempting to see if anyone caught this...or ???

Makes one wonder if this is a deep cover operative who is haveing their cover blowen. Good places to be in for such a one,if you wnat to know what the other sides doing or thinking or who/how,where they all are.

If this woman is actually lying ...and it hasnt been proven that she has . But if she has, it is a indication of something deeper. We live in such a transient world today. We are closed up in our homes watching tv or spending time on our computers. Some people feel invisible . So it sometimes is tempting to make up a story in order for someone ,anyone to pay some attention to "me" Perhaps that is what has occured here with this woman. Again if she in fact fabricated the story.

Noted, Cate. My head is spinning, yet again. I am not certain it is REALLY the last day of September, even though the calendar says so. Could be a mis-print, could be a hoax, could be a lie, could be a way to get more people to attend church. I try diligently to approach all news with informed skepticism, including this. I do not know enough to do that here, so I am going to suspend judgment for now.

Arn't we all victims in part of what happened on 9/11, I am sorry her lies affected the hearts of those that were close to her, but seriously folks she didn't exactly cause damage it sounds to me as though she was able to make a difference in many lives. Now really, what does it truly matter now? We all must strive to make more of an effort to help and no matter the lie this woman made most of us that did absolutely nothing to help look like fools. I myself will be more involved from this point on, I would prefer to make a little difference in someone life when effected by a tragedy than do as I have done in the past which was simply nothing. At least I can admit it folks!
