When Bush first met Putin, he said, ""I looked the man in the eye. I was able to get a sense of his soul. I knew that President Putin was a man with whom I could work."

That's odd. I look in Putin's eyes and see KGB.

Is ther anything that GWB doesn't screw up? He has no diplomatic skills whatsoever. It is like pistols at high noon. I absolutely think he needs to be committed and Cheney along with him. The are both insane.

We don't WANT and we don't NEED a rocket shield in Europe. Why in Europe? Because we are far enough away from the USA and usable as a buffer? Like in the cold war, we were supposed to be sacrificed in the front line. The Netherlands is a tiny country but crammed with American missiles.....

Another brilliant comment from Bush. NOt. Pretty sad state of affairs. Shows his bad judgement. As I say. How many people does it take to help bush screw in a lighbulb ? Everyone he is so stupid.

Oh Oh Urgent! We must immediately build a shield to protect Europe from Iranian missles. Bushy goes off like this and the Russians say huh? Since it is obviously not true, they figure it is part of a plan. They don't understand that Bush doesn't know how to make a plan. Unfortunately they do understand they can't trust him so back we go to the cold war and talk of mutual assured distruction (MAD). Bush thinks God is guiding him to bring about Armegeddon. Will soneone PLEASE lock him up?

I shutter to think of another year like this, or worse. We don't need terrorists to destroy this country when the president is willing to do it for them.

Good for Putin, In case you do not remember the cold war it kept the global community safe. Perhaps you would rather he let us attack Iran. Did anybody watch Casparov on the Bill Maher show. He destroyed Bill on his accusations about Putin. Casparov hates Putin, none the less he completely took all the neo-con garbage and destroyed Bush.

NATO has completely undermined there effectiveness, subverting and taking possesion of Russia's satelite states. Bilderberger Clinton with his Balkan war strategy killing thousands of Croations,Serbians etc. anothe war started by our infamous CIA.

Question: How did this country feel when Russia put missles in Cuba? How do you think Russians feel about our putting nuclear missles in Poland.

I do not support Empire building by any country and today we have Israel, (not its Jewish people ) but the Sabbataian Zionists who have created a dictatorship within their own country against the will of their people. just as Bush has made this a Fascist country.

The U.S., U.K.,Russia, China and Israel all work towards a Fascist, Marxist,Trotsky,Lennin World Government.
Every President since Wilson has worked toward a Socialist gov't, all the Bushes should be tried for the murder of Kennedy Brothers, M.L.King and Malcom X.

Bush Sr. ran for the Senate twice while being a CIA opperative. Claimed he was not until Hoover brought to light he had eyewitness proof. Long story but remember Russia has the largest oil field in the world.

"Religion can never reform mankind because religion is slavery" Robert G.Ingersoll 1833-1898.
" The Christian Religion is a parody on the worship of the SUN, in which they put a man called Christ in the place of the sun, and pay him the adoration oriiginall payed to the sun." Thomas Paine, 1737-1809

If the US puts up that "rocket shield", that would give us Nuclear Primacy. We would than be able to dictate to the rest of the world whatever we wanted. If history shows us one thing its that whenever one country tries to take over the world(the never-ending elitist dream), they always fail, unfortunately many, many lives are lost. Russia's nuclear arsenal is the only thing in the way for US world domination. We need Putin to keep these elitists in check. The only thing this country has left is military muscle which is why you are seeing it flexed globally at present. Don't get me wrong I love my country, my old country i should say. Hopefully we can fight and get it back.......God Bless America!!

"My generation's apathy. I'm disgusted with it. I'm disgusted with my own apathy too, for being spineless and not always standing up against racism, sexism and all those other -isms the counterculture has been whinning about for years." : Kurt Cobain (American Musician and Singer of the grunge rock band Nirvana. 1967-1994)

Russia and China together as one!!! Watct out!!! Oh indeed Russia does have the largest oil deposits..loved what Thomas Paine said!

I love my country. I disrespect and distrust its current "leadership." If we bomb Iran, Russia and China will come in on their side, and we WILL have WWIII. King George will declare martial law, suspend the Constitution, and draft everyone it's possible to draft. He is an insane cretin with the black box in his hands!

As to why he was elected twice: He wasn't. The 2000 election was determined by fraud and the collusion of the Supreme Court. The 2004 election was determined, against the will of the people, by the outmoded, undemocratic, elitist, and unnecessary Electoral College. Al Gore won the popular vote.

Are we going to have to have another Americasn Revolution to get us out of this mess? (Not another Civil War--It would leave us too weak to fight invasion.)

Liberte! Fratetrnite! Egalite! L'etat n'est pas GWB ou Cheney! L'etat, c'est nous!

Bush putting missiles on the border of Russia is like the Soviet Union putting missiles on a US border in Cuba. That prompted a nuclear crisis. If Putin is smart, and I think he is, he will do the same thing in reverse, and threaten to push the nuclear button if this missile plan is put in place.

We need to back away from missiles and nuclear weapons, not spread them all over the globe and put hair triggers on everywhere.

I do not blame Putin, if you would just think about it for a minute, if WE got nuked, whoever did it couldn't live here in their life time and most likely, the fall out would kill all, if we nuke somebody it will start a chain reaction (no pun intended) and we ALL DESTROY the planet. This is what you call a "lose lose" situation. I think our best offence would be to get our butts home and make plans for a great defense. Then no more Pearl Habors or 9/11's. Bu$h, stick that dad burn pointed tail between yer legs and bring our children home and leave the world alone unless we are "invited"!!! If it wern't for you, we might actually be at PEACE now, just think about that!!! If we were minding our own business and taking care of our parents, children and our selves, we might actually be a country to look up to again.

Cate, I would have to agree with you. Putin is old old school KGB from before Russia's fall from Grace and he knows how to eliminate his enemies. It would be interesting to see though how fat his own wallet as gotten since the fall and him taking office. I would venture to say there are a lot of unmarked Swiss bank accounts attached to him making him close in personnel wealth to Bill Gates or Warren Buffet.

Your absolutely right Martin .
I don't blame Putin for not trusting Bush .
Actually he might be the one person that can stop Bush from going to war with IranI really don't think we should hate Putin for not wanting Bush to put missles in Russia .Maybe we should thank him for standing up to Bush seems every other country is just kissing his ass.
Bluntly put !

I would have to agree with Kasparov when it comes to Putin. During his interview he said Putin would raise a lot of hell about The US AND EUROPE from strong arming Iran but when it came to a fight he is not going to step in and Bush knows that. Like Kasparov said also Putin was just in it for the OIL. Gee that sounds familiar doesn't it.

"The Bear shall rise from the East ..." In 1989, I attended a conference in DC as President of the Indiana Jaycees. On of the speakers was a former under secretary of state. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name, but he reminded us that glasnost, was nothing new. It had been done several times in the past with the same result.

I hate to agree with Mr. Putin, but to carry a blade in one hand, and talk peace at the same time ... Mr. Bush is again, trying to rule the world ... one world union is a farce, but don't' tell that to him. If the UN can't be effective how in the world can he expect everybody to agree with him.

God, I have to quit reading this stuff, tuck my head up my arse, and just wait for the blinding flash. It appears that is what the majority of Americans are doing.
