A NOW chapter blasts Ted Kennedy for what they see as a betrayal of their support for him over the years. What do you think?

I don't have much regard for Ted Kennedy myself, and he has taken the lead on some issues with which I disagree deeply with him. I find it difficult to believe that there are legions of people in America who would be swaqyed by this endorsement, but...Camelot is a powerful if spurious legend.

I think Ted's endorsement is a mixed blessing for Obama . . .

His personal (drunken) messes aside, he has become the elder spokesman for the (ever shrinking) 'liberal' wing of the Democratic party.

I think it might hurt more than help . . .

AS of this election and looking back down through the years Obama and all the rest of them can not compare to the trials and tribulations of those who were president before.
Yes....We are in an era where if you sneeze it is reported and that is as confusing as not knowing at all.The technological age will con found our decisions because we are fed so much information about each candidate and come away wondering if there is any truth to it all.

As for Kennedy I would not believe a word this man says based on the distorted lies and cover up of the woman who he allowed to drown when he was carrying on with him.........I can not think of her name.

She is gone and Teddy boy is still shoving his weight and name around for all it is worth!!!!!!!!!

Plant life......Plant trees....For your life.......

WHAT COLOR , GENDER, NATIONALITY OR RELIGION IS TRUTH ?
WHAT COLOR , GENDER, NATIONALITY OR RELIGION IS GOOD AND EVIL ?
TRUTH HAS NO COLOR , GENDER , NATIONALITY OR RELIGION.
TRUTH IS NOT A BODY.
A ''HUMAN'' IS NOT MADE OF MEAT.
'' HUMAN '' IS THE QUALITY OF THE CONTENTS OF A MIND.

Bette M.

Some will hate ALL of you for your color, politics, religion, nationality.....
Some will hate you because your girl friend died in a lake.
Everyone has their excuses for BOTH their loving and their hating.
Which life is free of TRAUMA ?
Who has never failed ?
Should we hate every human being in the world ?
Which excuse do you want others to use for hating you ?

From the article: "Women have forgiven Kennedy, stuck up for him, stood by him, hushed the fact that he was late in his support of Title IX, the ERA, the Family Leave and Medical Act to name a few. Women have buried their anger that his support for the compromises in No Child Left Behind and the Medicare bogus drug benefit brought us the passage of these flawed bills. " Give me a friggin break!!! The idea that I am supposed to vote for Hillary just because she's a woman infuriates me and gives the whole bunch of us no credibility at all. I'd love to see a woman president as much as the next femaile but that certainly doesn't mean I am going to throw my support behind any woman who comes along. Especially as in the case of Clinton, when I don't agree with her stance on most of the issues!!! Here's a novel idea...how bout we all vote for the person who best represents our views and leave all the race, gender, & party BS out of it!!!

Well darn......You can hate me for any reason you chose. I can not make you think otherwise......You have the freedom to believe or not believe any thing I or anyone else says or believes.

I wrote an opinion not a fact of law..............And that is what my words are-OPINIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can ignore all I think, say or do if it affects you that much!! I or no one else has a gun to your head to force you to believe as I do.

If my words/thoughts/beliefs/philosophy runs counter to your own then so be it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe it is possible to love, like or accept every single human one may encounter........

I generally walk away and count to ten.................By the time you get to 10 you've decided wether you were correct or not.
As for Ted Kennedy he is a grown man who has lived with a silver spoon in his mouth all his life.........But, that is afterall an opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a fact though man has
destroyed three fourth of
all the trees on earth.........Go plant a few........Plant trees for life..........................

Ted Kennedy is nothing like his brothers, JFK and RFK. If he was, "they" would have shot him by now. I'm a feminist (third-wave), but I'm not a separatist. Just because Ted Kennedy chooses to endorse Obama doesn't mean he's betrayed women. Hillary Clinton has made some bad decisions as a Senator, and I do not like her decisions. I don't see that as a betrayal to women. I see it as an evaluation of her conduct and record as a Senator.I would love to see a woman become President, but I don't believe Hillary is that woman. My feelings about Obama are mixed. I would have liked to have seen Kucinich get the Democratic nomination. It saddens me that he had to drop out of the race.

Personally I am actually deeply surprised that Kennedy is even relevant, although I gather and do see that some do feel so. As for the Kennedy brothers, the only truly decent one was RFK in my own opinion. But I also think it rather sad that an organization expects loyalty by gender, whether it is a mens countryclub excluding woman, or a woman's organization rejecting anyone who does not support a female candidate no matter how awful she is.

Sorry for the "P"-word, but I was so pissed-off when I heard that "news".
While the Clintons are far from pristine(WHO IS these days???), Teddy seems to have a very short memory, not only of his clay feet, but he seems to forget the Clinton loyalty towards and for the Kennedys.
I had a real good laugh when the nephew endorsed Obama - oh yeah, that'll hold a thimble of water with, let's say - no one.
Carla, I thoroughly agree with you. I like Hillary, but would not vote for her just because she's a woman. She is an extremely intelligent person. But, unfortunately, I know many voting for her just becasue she's female, and that, of course, is not a reason to vote!!

I'm still not convinced of anyone in particular. But...let's hope Huckabee is not the Republican candidate, as ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE with the Religious Right & we'll have a very hostile situation...and will have to fight for our lives and the lives of those with weak or without voices.

I'm probably the least politically savvy person here. My opinions on the Kennedys stem from their historical influence and how they got to where they are now. The same holds true of the Bush clan. Had it not been for one very well informed person on Care2 I would not know too much of all the influence of the present president going back four generations. I was stunned at the info!!

Most of us will be as stunned and alot faster whenever we find out way down the road about any one of the candidates now running. What will the stunner be is anyones guess but surely this 21st century will keep us so informed much sooner than anyone from past elections has ever been.

I'll vote from my gut for it has rarely ever been wrong.............................

Even though it's made big news the last
couple of days, with Caroline and Ted
endorsing Obama, the Kennedy name doesn't
really carry the weight that it used to.
As for Ted "betraying" women?...Well, maybe
the man has some solid reasons for not endorsing
Hillary.
Thanks, Cate!

Well, this nation is just getting deeper and deeper in the pooh, if you ask me. Who CARES who is backing who?! This is not a reason to vote for someone. Osama... oops... I mean, Obama will just sink us further into the quagmire like all the rest of the Dem's and most of the Rep's this time around. I'm sorry, this is my OPINION and since people are so sensitive, I think I may need to reiterate that... this is all MY OPINION.

I used to be a Democrat, I've switched during this race, because its crystal clear to me that the only one to make ANY actual sense is Ron Paul. I may not agree with EVERYTHING he stands for (like abortion) but then again, I don't agree with even half of what anyone else is saying (and they have done) either. It's not like it will make that much difference in the long run on this one issue; he doesn't plan to make any changes regarding Abortion within his term as president, he's actually said that - and you know what, because of his record, I do trust him. Weird how that works. I mean, seriously people, he’s allowed to have his views too; besides, he’s a doctor, he’s delivered over 4000 babies! I can see why he’d feel it was wrong. I don’t have to agree… just like you don’t have to agree with me.

He does promise to bring our troupes home NOW and he wants to secure OUR borders NOW! He wants us to have ACTUAL money (not the paper stuff we use now - which isn't even REAL money, it's a reserve note - a loan for those who don't know what a note is, against REAL money - gold, silver!!! Remember, that’s what your great grandparents risked their lives for; used to hide it in the hems of their clothes and some even built walls around it, in order to keep the govt from taking it. Any of this ringing a bell?!

Most importantly, he backs the constitution 100% and wants to give us back our freedom. I mean, come on! Even writing our "views" on here is becoming dangerous. We're NOT FREE, people! It's time to wake up!

Also, Ron Paul doesn't want to go to war with Iran (which Putin has said he will retaliate if we do, i.e.: that means NUCULAR WAR - right here in the good old USofA!) Oh and on that note, did you know that Bush has asked for $70 BILLION for future wars in 2009?! Yep, setting it up for our next commander and chief, who by the way, will be Hillary if we can't stop the vote fraud. He's already priming her for the office; of course that news is buried too. Geesh! But Obama isn’t much better… look up his family line, he’s related to Bush! A nephew or cousin or some such sh*t.

Before anyone goes off on Vote Fraud not being legit, let me give you a clue. There was a case in 2004 where Vote Fraud was proven in Ohio by the courts. The people involved… went to jail! YAY! One point for us! Also, what’s happening in NH is just as blatant… wonder why they’ve asked for two extensions for the recount… trying to fudge those too?! Just imagine (for those of you concerned about this issue and for those who say that their vote doesn't count, if EVERYONE voted for ONE single candidate! Just imagine... they couldn't tamper with the votes then, or EVERYONE would know! I wish I could prove this point by getting a whole town to vote for Ron Paul. Then we'd see the real story. Oh well, I can dream. LOL!

This race isn’t about us! It’s not about the color of a person’s skin, or the gender, or the popularity of whoever backs them. This race is about who will continue the sins of the father. It’s the agenda we should be fighting, not each other!

Let’s really vote for change and vote for Ron Paul.

BTW, I'm just as disgusted with the 'other' Republicans as I am with the Democrats ***shaking head*** I just don't have the heart to continue this rant.

Best wishes to all! ...looks like we're going to need it.

As a conservative I find Kucinich, a Socialist, truthful and honest. Ironically in some ways he agrees with Ron Paul, a Libertarian. It would be interesting if the two of them run together.

The last female president I voted for didn't do that well, and I suspect most of you don't even know who I'm talking about, but you know her running mate, Ralph Nader. In 2000, Nader ran for president with an American Indian for vice-president. In 2004 I was thinking about Carol Moseley Braun over a remark she made - she said that it needed a Black person in the senate to speak the truth - I can't remember what it was, but I had thought the same thing several years before.

I never did find out much about Shirley Chisholm, I was only 18 at the time. Like most people, I assumed her biggest problem running for president was because she was Black. Years later she made the interesting comment that what stopped her was her gender.

When we women worked side-by-side w/ blacks for the right to vote, black men, we thought, would help us to the same perch once they achieved that right. It took a lot of yrs, sweat, tears, for us to get there, opposed by many black ministers & others we had birthed, nursed, cared for...
Black women, so far, have chosen to align themselves more by race, voting for Obama over voting for a woman, led by the same premises as before.
We have a long way to go to take care of ourselves. We still think that if we "up" our men (black or white, red or brown), they'll pull us up w/ them & take care of our needs. HIStory has shown that men are more likely to take care of their own wants (power, $, being part of the exclusive men's club, chasing younger women willing to oblige if the men have $, power, "prestige", etc...). Some power- that- be has identified Obama as the ONE already, & Ted's family wants to stay in the game.
I thought I might vote for Obama. However, he's pro-nuclear & now, pro-sending forces to Pakistan.
My thoughts now are: The President's a puppet head for the corporation-military complex. These are mostly capital As-Hs. At least, I want a woman AS-H up there who can sword fight w/ the best of them.
I'm voting for Hillary. Imperfect as she is, she's tough, has gritt, is a caring daughter & mom. If she's up there, more girls , perhaps, will see themselves in the light of being able to take care of themselves, not waiting for Big Dad or Brother to come to their aid, as it doesn't happen often. Let's save our largesse for when we have the power!
Ted'll soon be just a bad memory in the past pages.

A person, any person, has the right to their beliefs. If the choice doesn't suit someone else---too bad. The idea that a group, because they helped someone over the years, has any say on a personal choice is disgusting.

I'm one of those women who feel betrayed ....and I only hope good, solid Democrats feel the same way I do. It truly doesn't have to do with just women - it's that he's let ego and senility get in the way of endorsing the right candidate. I'm truly hoping the people of America can see that to have Ted Kennedy on your side is NOT really an endorsement at all - more of a liability!

Romney frightens me...he is as plastic and artificial as they come and has more waffles than a waffle house.

McCain is a numbnuts who is too old and too set in his ways to understand or effectively deal with the changing cicumstances of the world.

Huckabee...a joke, a corrupt, ignorant "religious" zealot.

I still have a gut distrust of Obama - I KNOW he has a hidden agenda and he smirks just like GWB.

Hillary is wired into the mainstream of business and politics but I would choose her any day over Slick Barack.

Edwards, though now wealthy, made his own pile and has first-hand knowledge of the lives and struggles of the working poor and remnants of the middle class. But he is, again, being buried. I am just sick at heart.

I don't think Obama can beat McCain, who I truly think will pull off the nomination. Hillary will have an uphill battle as they will swiftboat her with every old scandal, true or not, that they can dig up and resurrect. Edwards could stand up to McCain but the dedicated right wing poor will not support him, even though he is reaching out to them. What a mess.

Heres a thought::

As of this moment according to public opinion, etc.: the country is definetely leaning toward a democratic president. If i was the neo-con regime i would want a women or a black man to win the demo. canidacy, they would be easier to smut up and defeat than John Edwards( whom i like, given whats left) in their minds. You watch if hilary or obama win the spot , they will use race or gender to try to win America back to the republicon side. We have seen how sinister and dirty the Pres. race can be from the past, this one im sure will take the cake. the republicans have not even taken their gloves off yet. Their main goal now is to get rid of Edwards so they have a better shot at winning in November ., and their doing a pretty good job.
Most of us here on Care2 are not racist and are up to date on the hypocrisy, so we forget that the average joe(still large majority) is not aware of the current plight in the USA and the depths of the govts corruption and the control on the govt by multi-national Corps and bankers. If they can get 20-30% of the dems to go republicon using gender and race issues(lets face it alot of men won't vote for a woman and alot of people won't vote for a black) they could be close to 50% again, and we all know what happens when its a close race, the repubs have been "mysteriously" winning. This country has come a long way as far as equality goes , but there is still a large percentage out there that are still backwards as ever unfortunately.

Am not a politically expressive writer!!(Poet yes!)

John Edwards needs to make a move quick!!! Although its starting to look like something(?) is stopping him. Its like Cate said, he is for the working man(as much as a Polotician can be), he should have more support you would think. The working man still rules this country in numbers. It makes no sense that his numbers are not higher. I would of rather have seen Kucinich in ,but given whats left, Edwards seems the best. Who knows, I,m not so sure anymore that any of the ones left are worth a S**T.

For anyone to run for the presidency they must make promises they will never keep.

How could any one of us think to vote at all after the huge deception one after the other from Bush?

So now Obama has the support of one of the most devious politicians alive.....Kennedy! And Obama is being perceived as the black messiah by the black people......He is going to give them all they want based on payback.....Never mind they have been given far more than the American indian in comparison! If one thinks the country has ever been divided by race before you just haven't seen anything yet as far as his promises go!! Also Obama is not experienced enough in foreign relations or war...........He will bend to big money & he will bend as much for his own on the same level as what his own want in return for electing him.

And it is my personal opinion the American indian has been shoved completely out of sight politically, socially and economically in favor of other minority groups......It is almost as if they never have existed.

The whole political process in this country has become a farce because of the rich and their control of politics and every other facet of American life........................

When Bush came into office America seized to be whatever we thought of it before.........The flag, apple pie and mom went out the window when Bush began his devious reign upon this land.

Plant life for life........Plant trees.................

It's not good for your health to hold a grudge so long, Bette.

Ted Kennedy made a lot of mistakes in his life, and ruined any chance he had to ever become President. I am not defending him, but he has done a lot of good during his tenure in the U.S. Senate. As an individual, his name carries little weight, but the name Kennedy does. I believe the younger Kennedys supporting Obama's candidacy means more, and should influence many.

As far as your comment "Obama is being perceived as the black messiah by the black people", where did you get this idea. It isn't about race. For the record, I am a 39 y/o, college educated, white woman. I have read Senator Obama's books, and believe he is the better choice for our country at this time. He is a well educated, articulate, and knows more about the realities of life in third world countries than Senator Clinton every could.

As for the fallacy that Ms Rodham-Clinton has more experience, Senator Obama served six years in the state legislature before running for the Senate. Hillary was first lady, and has a lot of baggage, not the least of which is her husband, Bill.

If Chelsea decides to follow in the family business, I would support her. But right now is not the time for another Clinton in the White House.

Paige, I think that you have hit the nail on the head. people should be voting for the BEST PERSON FOR THE JOB AND COUNTRY ... not because they are Black or a woman or come from Hickville or their surname begins with xyz. I heard that Oprah was getting hate mail because she supported Obama and not Clinton. Women thought that she should be endorsing a woman, purely for being a woman. Kudos for Oprah for endorsing who she thinks is the better person.

My health is fine........Whatever I've written in a previous post is an OPINION...................Where did it come from? From a long life of observation!!!

Suppose anything I write does not jell with most but then that is called being an individual who thinks for herself and not join in thinking as everyone else would like for me too........Where would the world be if all of us thought exactly alike wether it be pro or con on any person or subject matter???????????????

Obama is not the best in my opinion way beyond the color of his skin..........There are so many other reasons besides that. Politics has many rats or saints depending on who you believe or conform to.

No one here or anywhere else has to like or believe what I say but please allow for an honest thought, viewpoint or belief to be expressed.........It may be all wet to you then by all means ignore it.

As one famous patriot said long ago said something to this affect: I may not like nor believe what you say but I'll defend your right to say it!!

Seems to me all want everyone to think, speak and be as one!!!!! I do not want to be a clone in my thoughts nor beliefs!!!!!!

To make my point........Wouldn't it be something if every politician said the same identical things all the time? We all like, want variety, choices and a mix of approaches to whatever........That difference we do have is exactly what makes all of us think and choose who we believe and follow.

Finally......I have no grudge against Kennedy, he is just a man with far too much influence, money and self bravado to suit me!

PLANT LIFE FOR LIFE.......PLANT TREES...............

P.S. I'm far more concerned with trees than all this political mush......Afterall my opinion is no more than a grain of sand in the ocean of opinions on this topic here on Care2..................

Wow!!! Well there certainly are a variety of opinons on this story and to one degree or another we have all made valid observations. That being said I think a lot of you are missing the main gist of the news article. An organization created and devoted to advancing women's issues is slanderinging ANYONE who dares support any other than the lone female candidate for the job. That is the kind of hate mongering and division that give Karl Rove and his ilk a "hard on". I am by no means a Ted Kennedy supporter and am well aware of his numerous faults but he is as entitled to his opinion as anyone. By their own admission NOW has "forgiven Kennedy, stuck up for him, stood by him, hushed the fact that he was late in his support of Title IX, the ERA, the Family Leave and Medical Act to name a few. Women have buried their anger that his support for the compromises in No Child Left Behind and the Medicare bogus drug benefit brought us the passage of these flawed bills." Seems to me they are the ones betraying women in this country, not Kennedy. Again I urge everyone to put all the labels aside and vote for the candiate who best represents your views. Maybe we should do our elections like some sort of a bind taste test. Put the blindfold on, listen to the candidates stance on the issues and vote accordingly with no idea whether the person you are votiing for is a man or woman, black or white, muslem, christian, mormon, pagan or atheist. Stick to the issues and quit being so easily manipulated.

Carla.....You put in the magic word.............Manipulation! In my definition that is to get one or people in general attention long enough to listen some more which is based on promises made then down the road promises broken. Promises made is a very old form of getting elected: I'll say whatever you want to hear to get elected. All of us hang on for dear life to those innuendo's..........All of us have been lost on the trail of hope and then along the way of the story of Little Read Riding Hood.........We've been fooled & had by the Bush administration & all his powerful maipulative buddies.

In Bush's case the manipulation was and is the velvet glove of force and implied threats on the homefront by clamping down on the people on the homefront of their rights. Bush also has declared himself king to invade another country for the destruction of the Twin Towers and lose of life. Bush seized the moment to invade a land and people who have been fighting & destroying each other for thousands of years. The American people belatedly put two & two together the invasion was based on oil............Bush learned the lessons well of his father, grandfather & great grandfather of how to make war and profit from it!!!!!!!!!!
All of the other candidates can't even come close to how this man and his family have operated for generations.

Bush has laid the ground rules down that from here on out all other presidents will follow. In other words, I can and will do as I choose because I'am...................The King.

No other president in history has been as arrogant as Bush...........And all of us should use extreme judgemental scrutiny of who we vote for ......If we vote at all!!!!!

Plant Life......Plant Trees................

I was disappointed that Ted Kennedy endorsed Obama instead of supporting Senator Hillary Clinton, the Democratic candidate with the most experience, maturity and work ethic. Obama simply is not experienced and mature enough to be President of the United States at this time in history. Bobby Kennedy's children, one a former governor, have endorsed Hillary Clinton because they like and respect her and admire how she accomplishes goals. She gets the job done. She's a workaholic, intelligent, motivated, and dedicated to improving the lives of Americans. I think her gender affected his opinion of her. I don't think he believes a woman can be the equal of a man in a position of leadership. If you look at the platforms of Clinton, Edwards and Obama, you will see that they are very similar. Obama adopted Edward's platform from 2004. There is nothing original. He also belongs to a cult like church where all the members of the church swear allegiance to their mother country, Africa, not America. I think it's great to be proud of the country where your ancestors came from, but someone running for high political office has to be totally loyal and committed to the United States. I think Hillary will be a good President.

I am a woman but I will not vote for someone just because of their gender ! Hillary is the worst choice so if I have to chose between the two I would rather see Obama win than Hillary ! As far as Ted well I hold no animosity for the man I am neutral in my feelings for him. My man was Kucinich and he is not in the race any more so I can't vote for him .I would vote for Obama just so he wins and not Hillary because I saw what NAFTA brought us and that was a Clinton bill and I did vote for him .I also don't like her double speak or her avoiding answering important questions during the debates ,,that tells me she is hiding something or she would be forthcoming with her answers.

well. i thought the whole point of feminism is so that women are able to compete with men on an equal footing. if someone is not considered to be a suitable candidate for president, if it were me i wouldn't vote for her even if it would mean she'll be the first woman president. it would be better if the first woman president were to be a good one. not one who got elected for PC reasons, and a better candidate was not elected who could've done more or better. i think it's worth waiting for, to find such a candidate properly and not 'make do'. i don't think that if people vote for obama they are necessarily against having a woman in the white house. maybe they just don't like hillary. or don't think she's good enough to lead at this point in time. different years require different sorts of attributes, after all.

there are already a lot of women presidents and prime ministers in the world who got there because they're the wives of former presidents and ministers, or because they benefited from that. everywhere from argentina to india and sri lanka. i would rather america, of all countries, have a woman president (someday) who got elected because she was best, and her husband plays a behind the scenes supporting role like other candidate spouses, not a limelight role - which i think is a bit weird, by the way, although i do understand the stature of bill clinton. it's a bit presumptuous to consider a woman's vote in the bag, just because you're a female candidate. or accuse women of being traitors just for not thinking you're good enough. :S sheesh.

Why the upset? Having a woman as president is long over due, however IMHO, Hilary Clinton is not the BEST woman for the job, just the one that happens to be running. That doesn't make her the right choice.
Voting for her JUST because she is a woman, without closely looking at her policies and mindset would be a grave mistake.
A woman for president? YES! hilary Clinto? NO THANK YOU!

Linda, how can you be neutral toward Ted Kennedy and hold so much animosity toward Bill Clinton? Of the two, Teddy ran away when he caused someone's death and left them to drown because of a DUI and escaped any justice. He was a life long womanizer and drove his wife Joan to spiral down into an alcoholic. As for Bill Clinton, everyone knows he has a roving eye and is a charmer and chick magnet. As for NAFTA, bills originate in the House of Representatives then go to the Senate and the President then signs them into law. Clinton did not create this law, so he should neither get credit nor condemnation for it. Besides, Hillary is the person running for President, not her husband. In the ideal world, people would not be influenced by someone's gender, or race, or religion, and only look at their beliefs and promises, their platform, but these factors can be a deciding factor where the platforms are nearly identical. Hillary has been attacked on such superficial things as her hair, her clothes, her laugh, her smile, her make-up and asked insulting questions because she is a woman and has the audacity to run for the high office in the land. Gender bias exists and many men will not vote for her because of her plumbing. I don't understand women who join in the male dominated media attack on her not seeing through the male hostility toward a women who hasn't stayed in her place, her house, and desiring to live in the White House. I'm curious, too, what questions has she evaded answering?

I would like to know just who the Kennedy's think they are...The good Kennedy's are all dead & buried...Also, how does Caroline know exactly how her Father JFK was...he was a good President for the time that he was President but he also was not much of a man when all is said & done...he was a womanizer just like his brother Ted...I can't say it enough...if Barack gets in we as a country are in for a worse time than we are in now...Our Men & Women will never get out of Iraq & you can bet your last dollar that we will be in a war with Iran...Barack acts like he is the Epitomy of Men...I think it was so disgraceful of him not to shake Hillary's hand when she went to congratulate him but no he turns away...He like Bush thinks he is God's Gift to what I don't know...he better learn some humility...in my opinion he is a jerk like Bush...that is only my opinion & I am sticking to it...noted

Noted. I'm numb but not dumb. Endorsements carry precious little weight for me. What a pity if one has no capacity to formulate choices independent of ANYONE else...movie stars, people of celebrity, and--most importantly--politicians. Jeez. Thanks, Cate.

In America, a politician must be a SALESMAN.
PEDDLING is a REQUIREMENT of the SYSTEM.
HUMANITY is my PRIORITY, and THEREFORE, I would rather be any Kennedy than to be ANY republican I have ever known.... except perhaps Dwight D. Eisenhower.

A note about ''Womanizers'' .

Any Human Being who does NOT LIKE HUMANS does not belong in MY Government.
