The report does not name the projects or the contractors involved, but staff members on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee who were briefed on the findings cited seven contractors, some of whom are among the biggest in the defense industry: Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Fluor, Parker Hannifin, Sparta, SRS Technologies and a subsidiary of L3 Communications.

This story is shocking enough on the face of it, BUT.....
Parker Hannafin is a corporation with it's HQ right here
where I live, in Greene County, Tennessee. I'd had no idea
they were a defense contractor. I'd thought they only
manufactured hydraulic equipment.

But, one thing is for certain:
If this story doesn't piss you off,
you must be in a coma.

There are so many behind-the-scenes players that Halliburton is just one on the list. The country has become corporatized and is now owned by the campaign contributors and big money interests who "bought" the elections, and the press that reports on them.

Add to that pharmaceutical companies, Blackwater, the Federal Reserve...

Tim R--- absolutly right-----if you are not pissed off you are in a comma or selfish enough to think that paying attention really doesn't matter. I have a hard time talking to people around me about this stuff because I must be surrounded by the wrong people. It seems like a constant battle to fight this self imposed ignorance. I really think people do not understand that EVERY action our "leaders" take effects us all.

I really do appreciate all of you who are taking a part in getting the news out and commenting on issues like this. It really gives me hope that there are great people out there who are paying attention and fighting this sheer ignorance. I feel privilaged to be talking with some of the most opened minds in the world. I look at all of you who are at least making the effort as a hero in my mind----------Thank You----------------

"Disciplinary Action" is de rigueur, if you don't do what you're told, life will be miserable for you after that. That's how the government works, by intimidation and subordination of people. Because many will cave and do what they shouldn't to keep their place in line. And government knows human nature and exploits it all the time. Along with ripping us all off all the time, de rigueur!!!
