Namibia's ivory stockpile of over 30 000 kg will not end up on a bonfire, as was the case with Gabon's elephant tusks and worked ivory more than a week ago.

What happens when there are no elephants left to masacre. The bloody Asians ancient beliefs about what ivory can do for them!!! They are insane!!! This poaching has got to stop!

sadly noted. These people live in mid-evil times. There are no cures to be gained here...only more cruelty perpetrated on these poor elephants. I wish the elephants could get a shot at the poachers..ty Jill

Man, a rock and a hard place. If you sell it you're just perpetrating the use of it. On the other hand the money could be used to catch poachers. Hmmm. Thanks Jill

I certainly don't agree with burning all of the Tusks that all of these animals gave their lives for, but not at all happy they want to sell it.

Why not put it in a Museum instead. Cause at the rate the poachers are going Not going to be anything left, and IMO if they were to sell it, just kinda makes more people want it, thus giving those POS poachers another incentive to hunt down these animals!

We need better Pollicing, by HONEST POLICE~ ARE THERE ANY LEFT THERE?

as long as any being lives in fear, hate, exploitation and death at the hands of man so shall all men live under this same threat, don't fool yourself no one is free as long as another is oppressed. withdraw your consent for as long as we agree to the small things we have agreed to the big ones, the pebble seems so small but its effects are far reaching
protect life, prosecute those that seek to destroy our shared home and our fellow beings
life has value beyond measure

The ivory sale will only encourage more elephant massacres. Ivory sales must be banned. Born the tusks.
