"This comes as the latest rhino poaching statistics indicate that a total of 373 rhinos have been killed since the beginning of this year. The total number of arrests stands at 199." At first glance one would like the number of arrests to be much higher - but comparing them with the ordinary arrests for ordinary crimes - it seems the powers that be are trying hard to stop poaching. If only it could be stopped for ever.

A memorandum of understanding backed up with law enforcement supposedly. We're killing off all of nature. What many don't realize is we're (stupid humans) a portion in that equation.

Noted. I hope this poaching can be stopped before we lose yet another species, and a country loses its' tourist dollars as a result.

Our Government should have woken up yonks ago - believe me when I tell you our country is run by a lot of criminal retards. Our rhinos are being poached to absolute extinction, by our own people to be sold to syndicates.

This slaughter must be completely stopped and all the criminals punished. But it's a step forward.

One think that the countries should be careful with their wildlife. It is their wildlife that is their attraction! Thanks Jill
