i like what the judge said about not wanting his grandchildren to grow up without being able to see rhinos. the man who was sentenced is a piece of garbage & i hope he suffers & dies in prison. let this be an example for the rest of the scum.

This may seem a harsh penalty but as the worlds problems grow, the punishment for crimes against nature will become harsher and more lethal. It's not what should happen but in reallity it's how humans react as the outcomes become more dire...

Great news. Now let's have these types of sentences for all animal abusers, and maybe such cases will be smaller in numbers.

Good news! Sadly their will be other selfish bastards to replace him. Lets hope the sentence at least slows them down.

Yes this is a very bright spot to hear about indeed---in my estimation though, this is still a drop in the bucket for what these low life's have done-------wish they could EVAPORATE COMPLETELY!~ Hope this human garbage rots away now ~~~

Received an unusally harsh sentence?? Huh, not nearly harsh enough!!! Harsh is 500 plus Rhinos killed this year alone, even more than last year. The Rhinos are paying with their lives & so should all those involved in this despicable trade. Thanks for posting Jill.

Good news. But it should be 40 years in jail for every rhino killed. I hope he won't come out alive !

Finally, a Judge that understands that stiffer sentences are necessary for the protection of the Rhino. Lets hope this killer is never allowed to return to the world without bars. Now he has the rest of his life to think about his greed and all the animal lives he took.
