Sad for the killing of rhinos, elephants and all the other animals being killed for parts of the body because of lame humans that have a greed so hideous, and are maybe sometimes unknowing from a system that keeps them depressed?

thanks for posting this and making more people aware .....this really upsets me......
like I say, the sooner the value of a poacher's head rises above that of the rhjino's horn, the better

If rhino poaching continues at this rate (which is twice 2012's rate, which is twice 2010's rate) then there will be no rhino left at all - that would mean that 1,200 rhino could be murdered this year! Help!

Why are some people so cruel to animals?

Money and greed is more important than our beautiful animals. Dropping from 3 to 2 per week is still ridiculous! They can do much more to prevent it. Thanks Jill for posting!

Sadly noted. There is a need for higher punishment for poachers or they will not stop until there is no animal left.

What a GRIMM outlook...It seems Mankind is intent on killing every last Rhino. So awful. As with the elephant crisis i wish there was a way to make their Horn a non desireable one.

Down to 2 a week? That's 2 too many, but I guess I should acknowledge that they are trying to stop massacre of defenseless animals.

Desperate times deserve desperate measures. There is a treatment to make rhino horn both uneatable and make it detectable to x-ray machines and therefore impossible to smuggle.

Every animal is at risk for extermination at this rate. How incredibly sad that these poachers can't be caught and shot.
