These remarkable birds, with their iridescent wings, fiery-red feet, sparking scarlet eyes and unmistakably deafening calls, passed from the Earth 99 years ago. In the 19th century, the passenger pigeon may have been the worlds most abundant bird

Humans can be down right scary and more than a little evil.
This happened 99 years ago; humans didn't learn a damn thing. Look at what is happening TODAY; we are killing Mother Earth and all beings who live here!

10-12 wood pigeons often visit my deck and they are wonderful with their mighty flapping wings. I do believe they purposefully enjoy teasing and putting on a show for my cats...often flying and hovering right in front of the windows. It drives the cats crazy. The pigeons love it!
