I think only personal meeting like this will awaken people to they commonality and choosing peace and understanding.
Hope that we each do this in personal lives. Dehumanization is only a part of the de-livingization that it seems we humans practice in our cognitions.
They say that we devloped stereotyping and other heuristics to function in the complex world, and we each have to defeat only this in ourselves to reach peace.
How about recognizing how ephemeral every living being we encounter is?
It might seem hard, such as when I am in the forest and everything is alive, but it turns out to be easy:
Just imagining, without even experiencing a fire-devastated land, a clear-cut area, or the maybe 6 years my wolf friend has. About once a year for the past 4 I've found a perfect silky black mole, with those perfect pink hands and feet they have. Each one has been crushed and unearthed by ORV passage in a beautiful forest tream area.
Just think how fragile is each living being you meet - Been doing that when not angry since about 4 years old, when my mom told me to go play outside. Somehow you never forget, after you seen some dead and dying.
