I personally do not see why there are not a whole lot of upper echelon managers of businesses that contributed to this mess in jail, and not doing cushy Fed time either. This is not white collar crime-this is a crime against humanity for people are suffering, they are really suffering.

Washington Mutual has changed business practice right after they knew they made bad loans and raised all prices and found ways to charge for things they didn't before. I don't expect it to be around long and it will kill us up here if they pull our or sell. It is far from over, I am afraid. I am currently shopping for another place for social security and pension to go to, probably a credit union. Just don't trust any of them anymore until some regulations are put into place.

"You are a den of vipers! I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning."
—President Andrew Jackson (1829-1837)
