I urge everyone to see the documentary film, “Food, Inc.”. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. The film is enlightening, and important. More information here:

My dark humor side makes me want to do an evil laugh at Monsanto et al. My practical side says this is going to cost us, at least initially. If more farmers have to switch to organic farming that's got to bring the cost of organic food down.

We'll be at Whole Foods tomorrow morning when they open at 8 am. I think I will hug and kiss everyone I see and thank them for supporting organic farming and safe consumer products. Then I will have a cortadito (if my daughter allows. . .)

Farmers who trusted Monsanto now getting a kick in the pants by Mother Nature. Hope the lesson is learned. Organic cultures must become a priority. Thanks Julie

Thank you Julie, this was really informative and positive news. I was delighted to read it all. The authors is excellent in that he is thorough, convincing, presenting substantial, scientific proof that GMO just does not work. Cecar Millan (the dog whisperer) says " never go against nature". That is exactly what the corporations are doing. Now we see the results: nature is biting back exactly where it hurts them the most: in their money bag. I do hope that the tide is turning regarding GMOs, especially when I think about the health of so many children being damaged due to adults feeding them this poison. Thank you again Julie.

Noted, thanks. Maybe if more people realized their diabetes, obesity, and other health problems can be attributed to these monster GMOs, more people will realize that organic is the only way to go.

This is a help from mother nature to get GMOs out and organic back. Also I think the permaculture movement is another help to get the farmers back in control. We need all the help of the world to take back what is being stolen form us and nature.

It is amazing that "our" country could unleash these crops without knowing the true damage it could do. If Europe can be out in front about labeling and banning, what does that say about us? Profit over life? They never could control the insertion of the modified gene, not in the plant itself, nor in what it could mutate in our bodies. Seeds of Deception is a great eye opener. But if we continue to fight for what is right, perhaps we can help reverse this damage. Scary thought is that the damage may be quite permanent.
