A diet rich in fish, omega-3 oils, fruits and vegetables may lower your risk of dementia and Alzheimer disease, whereas consuming omega-6 rich oils could increase chances of developing memory problems.Omega-6 rich oils include sunflower or grape seed oil.

Amathea, yes, flax seeds.

I want to let you know I've written PETA repeatedly about synthesizing fish oil essential omega-3 fatty acids in the lab so we don't have to eat fish. They have not responded. If we could make those two essential fatty acids in the lab we would reduce the overfishing conditions.

Marian, You may need to change the kind of oil for cooking. I have been using canola oil, but there is no data here.
