Contrary to what one might expect, the hormone melatonin - which helps regulate sleep cycles in humans and other animals - might actually disrupt memory formation. Zebrafish exposed to melatonin take 4 times longer to recall a learned behaviour than usual

Would this be considering Anti-Depressants? I haven't gotten a chance to read the whole article but hm.

Melatonin is a natural hormone produced in the pineal gland, released and circulate in the blood. It should not be classified as anti-depressant. Production of melatonin by the pineal gland is suppressed by light (more precisely, the blue light component of visible light), but is permitted by darkness.

Some travelers have been taking melatonin supplement to regulate jet lag, but this has been reported to disrupt memory formation.
