Mom offers sex with her 7-year-old
Authorities say mother approached undercover officer in 'disgusting case'

TAYLOR, Mich. - A woman’s five children were in protective custody after she was charged with offering to let an undercover investigator have sex with her 7-year-old daughter.

The 33-year-old woman, from the Detroit suburb of Taylor, was arrested Friday night after bringing the girl to a hotel in Romulus, near Detroit Metropolitan Airport, where she had agreed to meet the investigator, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department said.

The woman was prepared to offer her daughter “for pornographic photos and anything else that was available if the price was right,” Sheriff Warren Evans said. “She had indicated very clearly that that child would do whatever it was that the person who was going to meet the child wanted to do, and that she would see that the child complied.

“It’s a very, very disgusting case.”

The woman’s name was not released so the child would not be identified.

She was arraigned Sunday on five charges, including child sexually abusive behavior, illegal use of the Internet for child sexually abusive actions or materials and distribution of child sexually abusive material, sheriff’s spokesman John Roach said.

Adverts for prostitution
She was also charged with prostitution. The department said the woman propositioned the investigator herself and advertised online as a prostitute.

A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of the woman, who wasn’t represented by a lawyer at the arraignment, Roach said. A preliminary examination was scheduled for April 12.

The woman was being held on a $1 million bond. If convicted, she could get up 20 years in prison.

Authorities said the investigator was posing as a photographer when he and the woman met online.

The woman arrived at the hotel with her daughter, along with adult sex toys in a duffel bag and different dresses for the girl to wear, the department said.

At the time of the online chats, the department said it was investigating the woman on suspicion of distributing child pornography.

Evans said investigators were trying to determine if the woman’s other children — ages 12, 11, 9 and 6 — were victims of illegal sexual activity.

Children are so precious. Exploiting their innocence for any reason is a crime against us all.

I am speechless... I cannot fathom a mother selling her young child like that. 20 years is most definitely NOT enough. I wonder if their investigation will discover that she sold her other children. If so, maybe she will get 20 years for each child... Those children will definitely be on my prayer list.

She is a pathetic excuse of a human being..I hope she looses all forms of parental rights and never sees that poor child ever again!! She is one of those that needs to be sterilzed!!

Okay, I am totally confused. How could any person never mind a mother offer her child for something like this. It makes you wonder if this is the first time or has she been doing for years. What about the other children? I pray that the children will over come all of the misdeeds there mother has done. I hope that they get the love that they desereve and learn that love is not pain.

there is NO excuse for this and nothing they do to her is enough

the sadder part of the story is we don't have laws that really fit the crime and if we did we will never be able to fix the children that the so called mother put them thru and another question is Where is the Father???
he is suppose to be looking out for his children

Surely this would come under one of your laws for children in the US Michael...just throw the whole book at this woman and be done with it. If she is going to do this to children..her own or anyone elses she needs to be locked up for the rest of her natural life..because she has certainly ruined this childs...and goodness knows how many other times she is done it for the law to even set her up to be caught out..Remember she offered this child to an undercover agent. Yes I finally founds some words...after I fumed for hours over it here in Australia...she would certainly be getting a long jail term here if it was in Australia...
Prostituting a Minor
Unfit Mother
and a whole lot of other kinds of laws to go with it.

This is exactly what so many of us fight so hard to stop.
This 'mother', should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, just as if she were a 'stanger' pedophile.
Unfortunately in the US, the laws to protect children from sexual and physical abuse are FAR TO WEAK!
I only hope that this poor child and the siblings will be placed with loving foster parents and not with someone who will further abuse them.

This article really bothered me. I've never submitted an article before, but this one REALLY pulled at me. The mother deserves to be put away for life. The children, one can only pray that they receive the love and attention that a child deserves, and not some perversion pushed upon them by another. It tears at my heart to know that this was her "mother"...the person that was suppose to guide her in life. Not abuse her in such a fashion. This story will haunt me for some time.

My comments about this are not fit for human ears. I cannot comprehend what kind of person could do something so horrible. As William said, there is nothing more precious or valuable than a child. I can't imagine how everyone can't feel that way!!!!

i hate how this isn't even uncommon, how children are treated as possesions or something that can just be used for their benefit constantly, and how there's so many undeserving parents out there, who don't even get caught and how they think in their own opinions that this is perfectly fine and 20 years of jail probably won't change their opinions. This's so digusting, this whole world is getting so disgusting now.

Unbelievable! How can she treat her kid's with such disregard to their well being! Where is her motherly instincts to protect? What kind of parents does she have who obviously failed to raise her with respect and decency? My guess is drugs probably played a part here . . . they sure can mess up the judgement. NOT THAT I WISH TO EXCUSE HER BEHAVIOR as not everyone on drugs sells themselves or their children nor do all who have been abused do the same to others. WHY CANADA???? PRISON!!! She will not be welcome at the women's prison . . .they hate child abusers!
