Too bad you weren't a dog, my brother

Many more people would care about you

You had no spots or floppy ears

Statement from Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff regarding Michael Vick

"The Atlanta Falcons today relinquished their contractual rights to quarterback Michael Vick.

"Michael remains suspended by the NFL. However, in the event NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell decides to reinstate Michael, we feel his best opportunity to re-engage his football career would be at another club.

"Our entire organization sincerely hopes that Michael will continue to focus his efforts on making positive changes in his life, and we wish him well in that regard.”

Vick was drafted by the Falcons in 2001 and played six seasons with the team (2001-2006).

I WAS ACTUALLY JEALOUS OF THE POOR DOGS, BECAUSE MY BROTHER'S DEATH IS A SECRET, AND SIX YEARS LATER, SHELBY CO. JAIL HAS NOT BEEN MADE TO GIVE ANY ACCOUNT WHATSOEVER OF THE SECRET ARREST AND WRONGFUL DEATH OF LARRY NEAL.

About 800 people have signed my family's petition asking that Larry Neal's mother, who is 86 years old, be given some accountability about her handicapped son's secret arrest and death - the jail hid him 18 days, denying his heart meds so he would die of a heart attack, and he did. Why is there no investigation - why are we denied all records -- why is the USDOJ helping the jail hide the reports about Larry's death instead of doing their job?

I love dogs. The dogs we have raised were treated with love - true love. But they are NOT more worthy of investigation and accountability after murder than human beings, even sick ones, even black ones. If you signed to support my family's justice quest, thank you. THEY WROTE ME BACK AND ASKED ME WHERE THEY SHOULD LOOK FOR THE RECORDS ON LARRY IN THEIR OFFICE!

THEY ARE GIVING US THE RUNAROUND TO PROTECT THE IMPORTANT FOLKS, I FEEL.

Please look at my sharebook so you will know that I am not exaggerating when I complain that I am NOT ALLOWED to post certain news without a fight. I tried to drop this article into my Sharebook like I have with over a hundred others, but the picture did not carry over and the tag lines were not allowed to be links as usual. I do not kid you, Care2. Something is very wrong.

I know the people who want to contain the news about Larry's murder are very powerful and wealthy, but it is horribly unfair for me to be treated this way - subjected to cyberstalking every day! I don't have reply-all on my emails at Care2. I cannot post links in the Care2 News message boxes, although I have the proper steps from people who do it all the time. I cannot post videos at Care2.

No, it is not my computer or my software. It is the same when I go to the FedEx Kinkos and use the latest technology! The cyberstalking is tied to my login. This has happened for years before I came to Care2, so do not think I accuse Care2, which has been a wonderful experience for my mom and me. It is done or paid for by whoever wants to contain the news about Larry's murder and the cover-up that followed and continues to this day!

I have written the FBI, the USDOJ, the USDC, and filed police reports, but my First Amendment rights continue to be attacked.

Right now the screen I am typing this message on is 1/2 inch by 2 inches, so I can only see two lines at a time while inputting. I can send anyone who wants to see it a printscreen of this page if you send me your email address that can take attachments.

Did anyone else see the bodies of those poor dogs? Some looked burned. Others were shot. I understand that some of them lived and were placed in good homes.

It is good that vick was released. vick had his days and blew it all away with the dog fightings. Let him be finally done and over with football forever.

I did worry that 49er Head Coach, Mike Singletary, tried to hire vick as quarterback. Wrote to Mike Singletary to NOT hire vick as quarterback. SF bay area would NOT put up with vick at all in another story blog. I believe Singletary is over it on having vick as quarterback.

I sent the news to all my friends and posted at PRRA, MJ and TownCrier.

It was the public outcry that had much to do with Vick being terminated. Perhaps it saved some animals in that the next person will think before doing this to dogs.

I saw the corpses of those poor animals, and I fully agree that dogs need protection from such outrageous cruelty. It is still hard to imagine that anyone would do such things for FUN!

NEITHER DO THE LIVES OF CERTAIN CITIZENS COUNT. This "justice" system penalized Michael Vick to the fullest extent for animal cruelty, yet the USDOJ ordered torture on the War on Terror detainees, and dozens of them are "missing" today. Nobody went to jail for their torture and deaths.

THEY ARE/WERE PEOPLE, but their deaths don't count.

Furthermore, the USDOJ allowed Shelby County Jail to enter perjury during federal hearings to ascertain release from federal overview in 2005/2006. That jail had been abusive to its inmates and placed under the USDOJ. The jail LIED by omitting to tell about Larry Neal, my handicapped brother who was murdered there. The USDOJ knew the jail lied in federal court, because I had communicated with the DOJ directly about Larry PRIOR TO THOSE HEARINGS.

I love dogs, and agree that Vick should have been punished for what he did, and he was.

I also think somebody needs to make the USDOJ do its job and investigate Larry's death. Instead, the petition that 400 people - many Care2 members, signed for a USDOJ investigation about Larry was DELETED AFTER I PUBLISHED THIS ARTICLE LAST NIGHT.

Censorship took off her Chinese slippers and swam across the ocean last night. She better put that petition back online or I ask all of you who signed it to enter a class action suit with me for FREE SPEECH AND FREE PRESS.

Sometimes that "past member" icon pops up when I enter a share "they" don't like. But when I try to print what the "past member" writes, it does not show up on the printout. I tell you guys the things that are done all the time so you will know to watch out for my family. We are persecuted for asking "WHAT HAPPENED TO LARRY NEAL."

That is why I say that Michael Vick's prosecution was hypocrisy by a system that tortures and kills prisoners - human beings. I agree that Vick deserved punishment, but I believe that people who hurt other humans deserve at least the same.

Mary, the reason it said it had only been active for 13 hours was that whenever a story makes the Front Page, it "re-sets" to zero hours. That 13 hours was the number of hours since it made the Front Page, not since you originally submitted it. That is the way it works for any story which goes to the Front Page.
