THEY ARE DISCUSSING GIVING SCHOOL POLICE TASERS THAT WILL BE USED TO KILL OUR CHILDREN IN SCHOOL. Please stop the abuses to schoolchildren, especially those who are mentally challenged like the young man in the film. He was brain damaged in an accident as a younger child. The boy is not mentally ill, but he is a slow learner. Many Americans who have learning disabilities or any other type of brain issues are targeted for abuse and even murder. Often, they are targeted by stressed-out police officers who need psychiatric help themselves.

When trying to post this news, I was prevented by Cointelpro-like interference, as usual. It is time that authorities stop hiding and minimizing crimes against citizens such as the SECRET ARREST AND WRONGFUL DEATH OF LARRY NEAL - my own brother who was a lifelong schizophrenic.

Sick police officers need help. We don't need authorities to minimize or cover up abuses such as the special needs student endured being BEATEN for his shirt tail. Tasers are being considered for school police. This child would likely be dead if the stressed out officer had a Taser, don't you agree? Police officers who need treatment for their mental health issues are afraid to come forward due to the stigma attached to mental illness. Many of them eventually kill citizens, and their personnel files often show previous abuses that should have been addressed.

PEOPLE ARE HIRED TO PREVENT NEWS OF HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES FROM GETTING PUBLIC ATTENTION, BECAUSE THEY DON'T INTEND TO CHANGE.

I don't know if the policeman has mental problems. It is possible that the young man said a curse word or in some way showed disrespect so the policeman thought that he should beat him up. If that is what happened, the problem is that too many policeman feel that they have the power and right to do whatever they want. They don't. They have a right to restrain someone who is out of control. They do not have the right to beat someone because that person made them angry. I can recall a former neighbor of mine (who was a nice kid) got into trouble at school because he got into a brawl with a fellow student because that student called him a name, but that former neighbor of mine was about 13 years old. This policeman is a grownup and someone who is supposed to enforce the law so he should know better. Unfortunately too many of the policemen don't know better. Perhaps they need better training. I repeat that I don't know what happened so it is possible that the policeman has mental problems, but it looked like other people( perhaps students) joined in on attacking the student and some woman walked by as if nothing was happening. ??????

And this is why I "HOMESCHOOL" my son, thank you! Do you really think I would give him over to the schools today? NO WAY ~ He did attend public school from K-5 however, what he went through in those years, because of he is specially gifted, I wouldn't wish on anyone, and I did do something about it, I was at that school everyday on behalf of my son!

I will do whatever it takes Mary my sister to help in anyway that I can on this one!

I am appalled at the actions of the officer, what the hell was he thinking? This is a child, with special needs no less and no matter if he cussed or said something...NO CHILD deserves a beatdown, especially from an officer that is obviously SICK in HIS own head!

I'll tell you what, if this was my son, I would be on this so fast the county's heads would spin!

Another thing, our schools are becoming like going into court, they have the scanners now in some schools, officers, K-9's, and let's not forget the bullies, eh? And now they're thinking of allowing tasers?
OH NO DAMN WAY! I am dead set against tasers being used on anyone, PERIOD...now they are going to taser OUR CHILDREN! Not as long as I am breathing would I allow that to happen.

Mary, please do tell us what we can do to stop this insanity! I will call all of my Reps, Senators, Congresspeople, and even the Prez himself!

NO TASERS FOR ANYONE, ESPECIALLY ON CHILDREN!!! Some Police officers are taser happy and will use them on anyone, how truly sad that is, do you know how much voltage goes thru a persons body when they do this? A lot, let me tell you, enough to kill some people that are not well to begin with. There have been many taser related deaths, remember that.

This is so disgusting. It infuriates me when I hear of these type of things going on. That poor child. Something needs to be done, and done soon! First off take away those wretched tasers! And, be more thorough when hiring someone who is supposed to PROTECT 'our' children. Thank you for sharing this with us Mary. Bless you.

The child was in a special school for brain damaged kids! Young Pitts is not mentally ill, but a slow learner after his accident. Some children in the school are mentally ill, however.

Can you imagine how seeing their schoolmate attacked by the big, skinhead police officer who is their for their protection may have traumatized the other children?

THE POLICE OFFICER BROKE THE BOY'S NOSE OVER HIS SHIRT TAIL BEING OUT!

Sometimes, things have to sink in with me. The big weightlifting-type officer jumped on a kid in a special needs school, beat him unmercifully in front of other children who already have diverse brain issues, broke the child's nose, and put him in a face-down takedown that has killed kids before - all over a shirt tail.

Someone should go to the officer's home and check his wife and children, if he has any.

Hello, Phyllis. Maybe you did not hear about it, but the judiciary does not allow lawsuits to get to the jury if it so desires. Consider our case regarding my mentally dysfunctional relative who was not only attacked and beaten by police, but actually hidden in Shelby County Jail to die without his heart meds (or maybe more, we are not told what they did to kill him). When our lawyers, The Johnnie Cochran Firm, failed to file our wrongful death lawsuit timely, we sued The Cochran Firm for defrauding us to protect the jail - TWICE. Neither time was the suit allowed to proceed to jury trial. In fact, one judge ruled there was no such thing as a Cochan Firm office in Georgia, which is where suit was served. Look online for the ads for Cochran Firm Atlanta office! It is outrageous!

Therefore, you assume that there is justice somewhere in the USA for people like this young boy who was assaulted by the police officer in his school, but that depends on whether one has a case authorities will allow to reach the people, and what evidence the judiciary will approve being presented to the jury. There are many ways to block a justified lawsuit, Phyllis. If they don't want a citizen to collect damages for wrongs by police, such lawsuits are BLOCKED.

I do think that anyone who has a public function should be screened!! And should have at least a reasonable education and not be biased. A lot of problems in this modern world come fort from bigotry and prejudice.Mary keep up the good work.

Thank you, Winefred. Thanks to all of you who read and share my concerns about human rights for disenfranchised persons, including this child who was attacked and beaten in his special needs schools, the 80-year-old woman thrown to the ground and her head cracked by police, the 72-year-old great grandma who police Tasered on a traffic stop in Texas, the young mother who just learned her child was murdered and was Tasered in Louisiana when she became hysterical at the news, the harmless mentally ill man who was just standing on the corner when a cruising police car stopped and an officer jumped out and beat him to a pulp, the man who was sodomized by a Taser weapon, many other such stories, including my own mentally ill brother's secret arrest and death in Shelby County Jail in Memphis and THE COCHRAN FIRM FRAUD.

It is YOU, THE PEOPLE WHO CARE, who push these stories to the forefront so that injustices get attention, and many are met with justified resolution - all because of Y-O-U. I am so blessed to belong to a community of kind, warm, caring people like you. I am truly honored to be among you.
