Change Walmart. The Time for Silence Is Over

Business  (tags: abuse, corporate, humans, wal-mart )

Since last Friday, Walmart responded predictably by firing 10 strikers and disciplining another 25. Unbelievable. We urge you to call on Walmart to end its illegal disciplinary actions and terminations.

The best way to this is to buy local and if your Walmart is local buy make a conscious decision to find and visit smaller firms within the same area.

Walmart thinks only with money so hit them where it hurts - stop buying things from them where and when you can.

Completely predictable response. The thing is that this company actually has a chance to do something really good, they are so big and have so many employee's if they simply adapted a responsible attitude toward them and committed to fair pay, equal treatment, benefits - they would still make zillions of dollars and also be a respected workplace and good global citizen. Instead, they choose the ugliest course of action possible, time after time. Enlightenment is long overdue at WalMart. I wish that management structure a heart transplant in order to make our world a better place for themselves, their workers and their customers. Sam's kids will still do just fine and have more money than they could spend in 10 lifetimes. Just share a bit, please.

I'm afraid 2 say that @ 1 X I have a lot to say about this tyrant company as I worked for them but can't because the last x I did they hunted down my "protected' email and they were quite threating. My PC also crashed big time perhaps coincident, There is a cost to the tax payer 4 their "low" prices. My opinion. I will say this. I am now the tax payers burden because of what transpired. I'm unable to physically work and have limited mobility now from what I went thru by the supervisors at the warehouse. I'm trying to stand up on my feet again n not be a tax payers burden by enrolling green customers for this company that I love n who give me a chance to get out of my situation from what that other company did to me. My bio there at my website is only partial but what I went thru with this company should be there but wanted to keep my bio not too depressing! Should you be interested in shopping with a made in America company n just switch your shopping over to a simpler, safer and environmentally smarter company please contact me at my website: and receive a free ebook if you like and then click contact me if you want more information about this fantastic company. Your shopping will help the elderly, the disabled and environmental conscious folks. It will also benefit you and your family too. At least consider switching for 90 days, no risk n money back if not happy. This is a shopping club that has removed the poison from their products. Regardless just don't shop at Walmarts anymore. That's the only way to change them because you're beating a dead horse. The workers will loose regardless. An attorney told me this. There are a lot of x Walmarters in the same boat. The tax payers burden. I hope you will consider my offer of an alternative shopping club! I will note this but to afraid to sign as I know what their capable of. Thank you kindly.

Hey Walmart Executives if the shoe fits, wear it.

You underpaid your employees, your employees should not be at poverty level where OUR tax dollars are supporting them, that is your job as their employer. I for one are sick and tired of seeing my tax dollars spent this way.

Time to step up to the plate & open up your wallets.

Waknart is very good at doing one thing very well: making money at the expense of its employees, who are quite dispensable as far as their management is concerned, I'm sure it was a good company when it started, before it became "Super" and popped up everywhere and a half, but it's become a monster.

I don't shop there, or do very, very seldom. (The last time I set foot in one was in 2008, for one particular item.) When I get gift cards through work, I generally give them away. I not only disapprove of Walmart's management style,. I don't trust the quality of its merchandise. That said, it was founded with a good idea, of being a low-cost warehouse type store. I just think it's changed, and not for the better.

Up north from where I live, a new Walmart is being built, but they are not going to call it Walmart, it will instead be called "Smart Center", in part, I understand, because there was a lot of opposition to Walmart coming into the town. I guess they think they'll fool people into thinking it's not a Walmart.
