I AM GRATEFUL FOR THIS GOOD WORK AND GOOD NEWS! PLEASE WILL YOU NOTE, AND COMMENTS.
For those who do not access links, the article is below:
"Spanish cleantech company Abengoa recently completed its latest concentrating solar power (CSP) project, the Castilla-La Mancha Solar Complex in Spain.
The project consists of two identical 50 MW parabolic trough plants, both located in the Ciudad Real municipalities of Arenas de San Juan, Villarta de San Juan and Puerto Lapice.
Parabolic trough technology involves a field of sunlight collectors that follow the movement of the sun with curved mirrors. The mirrors concentrate the sunís rays on receiver tubes filled with heat transfer fluids that is heated to approximately 400 degrees Celsius.
Abengoaís Castilla-La Mancha Solar Complex is part of the companyís commitment to reduce the countryís greenhouse gas emissions, displacing an estimated 63,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
The project has also given significant socio-economic benefits to its surrounding community, such as 1,650 construction jobs and 90 permanent jobs to work on the plantís operation and maintenance. Together with the local manufacturing of the plantís components, the CSP plant this has made a significant impact to the regionís economy."
