'This technology enables Solana to produce electricity at full capacity for up to six hours after sunset, including the early evening hours when customer demand for power typically peaks in Arizona.'
From the article.

This is a very important development in the history of the development of
solar energy! This will greatly increase the usefulness of solar energy
since it will no longer be solely dependent on the sun actually shining.

Funny and interesting! I use to live in Arizona for 23 years. When I was living there until late '08, APS the gouge you in the summer electric company didn't give a damn about solar power, only high polluting coal power. Arizona has been very anti-solar, when it has tons of sunlight all year long.
