"With the possibility of cities and coastal areas going under water in the future, it has become necessary to devise plans beforehand in order to deal with such situations successfully. Can floating architecture can be the ultimate solution...."

Floating Architecture sounds like a good solution. Wonder how they would survive a Hurricane Sandy, Typhoon Haiyan or Tsunami's like the ones we have seen in the last few years.
Other challenges would be supplying fresh water, sewerage and garbage disposal.
The answer of course is to make each unit totally self sufficient. Solar power for lighting etc. Sewerage and garbage to generate gas for heating and cooking and desalinators for water.
All doable but can it be made affordable?

We'll have to teach those babies how to survive in the water when they are 1-2 years old.

Why are people so against moving away from fossil fuel to green technology! The extinction of the honey bee - oh well we have little robots that can replace them (and these little robots will be able to pollinate all the wild plant life too that so many species depend on! And the ridiculousness continues on . . . do you really think that once our planet heats up it will be able to sustain all population? You know the wealthy will be protected but what about the other 99% of the people! Science can't solve every issue that will arise from the pending disaster that will come from global warming!

Energy Indepence as Solar energy and in other forms may help many people -- for a while and for a long while Mobiblity -- such as Energy Independence on -- meaning no need for fuel -- may help many people on their Ocean going ship or boat -- or on their vehicle to get to a safe place -- or on their wind-solar-wave energy powered flotable drivable tiny house or trailor -- and oh -- add some helicopter wings! Finding Nemo or chitty chitty bang bang -- please excuse my Sp's!

Thank you for your comments and your notes!

LET'S FIND A WAY! We have plenty of under-employed and un-employed men and women who may and would like to volunteer to make some of these items OR WILL SOME PEOPLE create a job here and there -- to employ people to prepare as many people as possible -- for what may come to thi world ?
Well send me a message on this one -- if you will.

Men and women with hands on skills in welding, and people with down-to earth creative thinking maybe capable of making all of this affordable -- a in free even -- because we all need all the man, women, and children that we can possibly help get through what-ever this world is going through. Need and may like and enjoy caring about people.
