Please VOTE NO in this POLL. Just when you thought councils couldn't get any less compassionate - Murray Bridge Council take a bow. This council is contemplating the return of the gas chamber for feral cats.

Just voted "No," of course, and passed the link along to an on-line group for cat lovers. Happily I report that "no" votes are well ahead. Do they not have Alley Cat Allies, or the equivalent thereof, in Australia?

Actually having done some research Murray Bridge strongly endorses TNVR (even providing traps) and will have mandatory spay/neuter laws in place hopefully by 1 July, 2018. Couldn't find anything about gas chambers though...the document just specifies "humane" euthanasia.

VOTED NO...WHAT FRUSTRATES ME IS THAT EVERY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT AND POLITICIAN HAS ONE THING IN COMMON AND THAT IS A TOTAL DISRESPECT FOR LIFE. I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE MAJORITY OF VOTERS ARE EVIL SO OBVIOUSLY GOOD PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR BAD PEOPLE. EVERYBODY NEEDS TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU VOTE AGAIN AND NO EXACTLY WHO OR WHAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR. IT IS MUCH BETTER TO NOT VOTE AT ALL THAN TO VOTE FOR THE ENEMY.
