Barricaded with double-perimeter high-voltage electric and razor-wire fences and protected by security lights and locked gates, the ominous-looking compound in the high plains five hours east of Mexico City might be mistaken for a prison - except that

Disgusting - a huge proportion of the human race is totally lacking in any sort of decency or integrity.

This is highly unhealthy for all that live or breath...which is just about everyone in the area, this place should be shut down. Can you imagine what the poor pigs are going through? I am appalled that they allow this to happen to our animals, just for a profit, it isn't right, it's cruelty to animals.

TY Pearl 4 the forward sweetie, and TY Simone for caring enough to write this important article my friend, it helps people to be aware of what is happening around them, good to know.

Many blessings to all,
FreeSpiritRunning...

The good part is:

I sell machines made in Germany and Italy that are ecological and don´t polute. These machines purify the water in an incredible and cheap way. One state already bought me 3, the problem is that with these scandal they haven´t pay me yet! I am suffering directly the crisis when I could be HELPING more for a better world *sigh*

This machines work with ozone and salt (small amounts and very cheap)

But well, 2 days ago, here gows the good news, one of my partners had a meeting with Veracruz authorities and I am waiting for news for cleaning these lagoons once and for all. Pray for their good judment and wish me luck.

Why didn´t I tell nobody here about what I do for a better world outside Care2? well...because nobody asked me what I do! lol.

But now that we are talking about the issue, here is one Mexican that really cares.

This above all that I read impacted me most "British microbiologist Professor Hugh Pennington said: ‘It is entirely possible to transfer the flu virus both ways between species. Flu itself probably got into pigs from humans during the big pandemic in 1918. So it’s possible this [epidemic] is the pigs’ revenge.’"-and then there is karma. What a hell this is for anything or anyone and at the behest and under the control of man for the "dollar." What is this world but a torment for animals? Thanks so much for this-noted and will make a point to forward.

There is really a way to have a pig farm and make it ecofriendly. Its the greed for money. The way they have them stacked up on top of each other is truly inhuman. They don't care about the pigs or the people. They care about the money.

Granjas Carroll de Mexico (GCM)..and the US-based Smithfield Foods..should be shut down..How could they not know how these farms were being run..and they have the audacity to call it good food..
How shamefully disgusting..Greed..that is all it is..pure greed from people that just do not care..

Thank you Simone..
Noted with disgust..

It's the human's unkind daily dietary choices, made all this happen. Stop killing animals for food, in a family farm or factory farm.

Killing for Living??? just doesn’t work.

Go Vegan, the world will be peaceful paradise for all living creatures to enjoy.

If humans do not want to change quickly, will have to perish, if not the flu, there will be other natural or unnatural disasters.

this is disgusting but it is possible that the "flu" didn't come from there.you have to wonder who stands to make a lot of money from an epidemic.thats right.the drug companies.so if i was a greedy capatalist drug supplier, iwould create a virus, release a little bit, then sell the drugs to the world.very lucrative in an economic downturn.but,i might just be paranoid!

Polly - please realize the meat industry and the pharmaceutical corporations work together. Their goal is to keep us sick enough to consume their products.

I have been going vegetarian now for years- I just can't stand the way man suffers animals to live just to die. man creates hell on earth for animals and mankind- then when new strains of disease come - they seemed shocked- when man is to blame. filth created bacteria , then virises, then sickness and death...animals need fresh roomy living clean conditions to be kept healthy and whole.

What has to occur in a person's heart to work in a place like that and NOT have anything inside tell them it is wrong to watch the pigs live that way? What can change such a thing when even the witness of suffering does not? Viruses could be nature's way to correct the problem, by eliminating the vileness and suffering as a part of a larger life system. The body of earth could very well be sending out viruses as its own antibodies to rid itself of such plagues as the suffering that is surely crying out in the spirit. Whether or not that is so, all life is connected on this planet and what WE do impacts earth's system. Who is to say that the system is not correcting for us?

I am sure this is not the life God intended animals to live with us on this planet! man has brought his curse to all living things on this planet- we who know God and have a heart must help put an end to animals living in such filthy and horrid conditions. this is about man's lust and greed- to get rich while the weal suffer!
