Today animal-murderer and torturer Michael Vick was reinstated by the NFL. He made millions torturing (and often killing dogs that could no longer fight). He only served two years and now the NFL has reinstated him. No person in his/her right mind can

This should never have happened! He's a criminal! All the NFL is looking at is how much money he'll bring in by being on the team! This is disgusting! And not justice that was served! NOBODY in their right mind should hire VICK unless they're also crooks and criminals. He should suffer the consequences by not ever being allowed to play PRO. He chose to send dogs to their death and he should pay dearly.
Thank you Simone

It is disgusting how money is more important than what is morally and ethically right. this man is going to make the NFL big bucks so what crimes he committed or whether he is going to send the right or wrong message to our youth or to the world as towhat we stand for is not important.

I cannot believe the NFL is allowing this man to play sports again and paying him to do so.

I will boycott football. This man should not be reinstated. He did not spend long enough in jail.

I have been sick to my stomach and DISGUSTED...ever since I heard this News.
Why should these Sports figures ever change?...We, the people, allow them to continue doing immoral acts...
over and over again...with hardly any punishment. They feel ABOVE US ALL.

While i am 100% against his actions, i am also 100% for forgiving people and allowing them a second chance, particularly after they have served what was determined to be an adequate prison sentence. Condemning someone forever because of their past actions is in poor taste.

Then I admit to being a person of Poor Taste, James.
If it means saving the Life of innocent animals that can't speak for themselves.
TO ME HE IS A MURDERER !!!!

Well, James, I guess I'm a member of the Poor Taste Club. In fact, I would like to be President. There is nothing that will ever make up for the torture and suffering he inflicted upon those innocent dogs. Shame on him and any football team that accepts him.

I,too, must have poor taste because I stongly condemn his actions. He is a star and role model to many children and his crime is a crime of cruelty.

Labeling, torture and cruelly killing and even burying dogs alive, as poor taste is forgivable because you obviously don't understand the severity of these crimes, this man is very dangerous, cruel and without conscience. But to forgive Vick and re-instate him is unbelievable in my book and obviously in many other people's book as well.

And I'm also glad you got a petition for this as well, Simone.

Thanks my dear friend Simone.

They have to be out of their friggen mind to reinstate him. This is totally wrong and sending the entire WORLD the wrong message, I hope they stone him should he play. Sending the wrong message to our young children who go to football games. So ROTTEN it is just ILL.

SIGNED, FORWARDED AND NOTED WITH EXTREME SHOCK THAT THEY WOULD ALLOW THIS, I WOULD OF THOUGHT THAT AMERICA WOULD BE IN A UPROAR, WHATEVER TEAM HIRES HIM SHOULD GO BANKRUPT. HE IS NOT COMING TO SAN DIEGO, I WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT. SOB -- ROTTON --SOB, WORKED UP!!!!

THIS NUT CASE NEVER SHOULD BE ANYTHING IN LIFE BUT A GROCERY BAGGER IN MY OPINION.

I was looking at the 2 pix and you know what? With all the damage inflicted on him, that dog is absolutely beautiful while the face on the left is downright disgusting and ugly!
Thanks so much, Simone, for standing up for these poor mistreated and maily misunderstood dogs!
As for James, if it were for anything else but this barbaric animal cruelty, I might agree with you. However, what this man is guilty of is as vile and disturbing as any crime committed to a child.

Thank you James. Ours might not be the popular vote, but my opnion is the same as yours. I don't support Michael Vick or his cruel and hearless actions towards innocent dogs, but I do believe in supporting the justice system which gave him a penalty required to fulfill under law.

Should a football team decide to take him on, we should encourage him to give a very large portion of his money towards fighting the good fight by educating the public about the true love and passion that comes from a PitBull. The animals would benefit more if we USED him for the rest of his life. That would be a petition I would sign!

Shame he got back in, but let us make this into a positive... make sure that every time he gets publicity, the fact that he has tortured and abused dogs is also publicised so that everyone associates his name with it... that way the message gets to the public that dog-fighting is wrong.

I hate sports but for those who love football I encourage you to pick a college team to cheer for. That should give you your fix and still allow you to boycott the NFL.

this is a good one. lets see the nfl go bankrupt cause a few animal activists want to boycott it because mike vick is coming back. so what. how many of you watch football anyway. if this makes you all sleep better at night then more power to ya.

(As I posted on the Causes section)

Unbelievable. Any team picking up this brute should be immediately boycotted by any and all of their supporters who claim to have a conscience.

Vick forced his animals to rip each other to pieces for the pleasure of evil men, and personally murdered those dogs who failed to reach his twisted standards. He has yet to show any genuine sign of remorse for anything other than being caught, still he is allowed back on the football field.

I've been a big fan of the sport for over 20 years now, but as long as this thug is welcome in the NFL, I won't be watching again. Disgusting.

This isn't just about football, it is setting a example to the world ,to the chrildren that looked up to him, a betrayal to all his fans to children that love animals- doing this behind closed doord and this man made thousands of dollars get real James everyone knows in their right mind what he did is wrong.Sure ,he did some time as a result of his actions and and the NFL is really wrong to permitt him back.He may never do that again but that is not the point. If he killed a relative of yours mr James and got released from prison what would you say than????

NFL=Now For Losers I'm in and won't buy from their sponsors Goodel goofs! I will remember the good years of being a Bear fan though enough's enough. No more cash to the NFL and their products or their sponsors from me.
