23 weeks in prison -- WHAT? I had to read the word, weeks, several times. How about years!! And why concurrent? It's certainly an improvement over doing nothing, but until we really make the consequences fit the crimes, we're not deterring anyone very much.
This is great but I want MORE!

Weeks. They get 23 weeks in jail after hurting, killing and deliberately harming many innocent dogs. Weeks. Couldn't be years. Heck, it couldn't even be months! They murdered these dogs. And that's all they get! I don't know if they were sentenced for that short time because they only killed dogs, animals that some poeple don't value or because the judge just didn't gare at all. Weeks. Yeah, that's some real justice alright.

these people abused tortured and killed innocent pit bulls for their own blood lust and they only get weeks..i don't understand, the poor dogs didn't get weeks of pain and abuse, they suffered for life...these horrid people are getting away with murder..the punishment should fit the crime and 23 weeks for murder and torture just doesn't sound right to me.
