I am horrified! In the article it say that "Although rescuers took every precaution, his paw pads and claws were torn off."

How can anyone be so cruel? This is really sick.

You think it's injured so you stop not drive by.Dumd asses!!!Them people obviously need to be slapped up side the head for stupidity and glued to the road themselves and watch while people drive by them.I'm glad he's alive, but now he's going to have to suffer for what that scumbag did to him. They will probable never find who did this and he/she/they will probable do it again, because they got away with it and thought it was funny.May you die a slow and painful death for the pain that you have caused this cat and any others you have harmed!!!

I'm in shock! People thought the cat was injured & didn't stop? Uh, that's when you are supposed to stop!! I have heard of alot of different ways that people abuse animals, but I have never heard of an animal being superglued to the highway. These pieces of toxic waste are getting more & more creative I'm sorry to say. What's next?

Bloody barbaric so called humans, how anyone could do this to a living breathing animal is beyond my understanding! I was taught to love all and practice compassion to all, I think so people have no values what so ever!!! Thank-you Simone

This is a shameful atrocity.

It's also a shame that the good folks at Second Chance Rescue are not aware that acetone (main ingredient in common fingernail polish remover) dissolves Super Glue and can be easily washed off with soap and water, causing no harm to the animal. Maybe one of you good people will pass that information on to them, and to other rescue organizations as well. Many thanks, OC

I rather like the idea of supergluing the human scum who did this to the highway - preferably right on the yellow line so that he gets the thrill of passing semi's. Maybe this would satisfy his need for excitement and the animals of the world would be safer.
