No puppy mills ever - then animal neglect will decline. I am not even sure if registered breeders do the right thing.

this is great news, for a time it will put shelters under pressure as they have to take in abandoned animals from these horrible places but at least there will be no more in the future from those breeders who have closed or fewer from those who are reducing the numbers due to this.Good on you Pennsylvania.

This is good news but, as ever, no-one thinks of the immediate consequences. Rescues need financial support to cope (at least they being taken to shelters) or being destroyed!

Long term this is good news.

I am glad the puppy mills are closing but it shows how heartless those breeders are by dumping all the dogs on local shelter and placing the burden on the system to find homes for them. If they had a heart they would find homes for the dogs themselves instead of just dumping them. Puppy Mill Owners you suck !!
