Unfortunately, I am not allowed to watch the video as I am in the UK but I've seen a few articles on pets not being reunited with their owners. Kudos to the rescues who went into New Orleans and rescued the pets and those that took them in. I saw the Dog Whisperer and know how difficult it was to put the owner & pet together and understand why they were adopted out. But these animals were not willingly abandoned and the government should have made some donations to help keep these pets and help reunite the families. This would have helped people feel more settled and return to normal.

I know that some of the pets rescued from New Orleans after Katrina came here to the Atlanta area and were put up for adoption. I think some also went to Houston.
